I would love some suggestions for a houseplant

Dayton, OH(Zone 5b)

I have hanging planters to go in two windows, one gets full sun, the other partial sun. I would love to have something that smells good as well. Any suggestions?

Would you mind explaining how a plant in the house can get full sun? Most people think of full sun as sun all day long. I'm confused about that.

Thanks-

My guess is one window is facing south and may be a bay window. Just a guess.

Exactly, tomyr2006. Thank you.

My favorite hanging plant is Swedish Ivy. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1354/ I think they could go in either of your windows. They're very hardy. If you read comments in PlantFiles; you'll find a lot of information. Mine never bloomed, but I found that on humid days and after watering, it gave off a very nice, light scent, which is one of the reasons why I like them so much

My favourite spider plants would look good hanging.

I'm with dipsydoodle, my spider would love your place! I have that and i'm not sure? pathos? that's what we always called it, it's a climbing plant. mine would love it too!

but they don't smell, i just love the colors they come in and the climbing or falling which ever way you let them go.

consider burros tail succulent or rosary vine in south window. stapelia would also do well but its starfish flower smells like carrion..

swiss cheese philodendron also nice for lower light, rabbits foot or holly ferns too! watermelon peperomia looks good too
