January III Blooms

(Zone 1)

Ooh, I like that stand! I have a wrought iron baker's rack, used as a plant stand that I used to have lights wired to in the guest room. Took it apart last year sometime and now it's out in my Florida Room crammed with junk! I need to begin my de-cluttering and spring cleaning and bring it back inside!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

These pictures are great and so much fun to have! I love them.

I was giving Sally a hard time for her 'political leanings'...........nothing about what you all were saying. I love that guy (the comedian) who is now on CNN on Friday or Saturday night at 9:00 who makes fun of all the politicians.......both sides of the aisle. He is funny!

I didn't know that Falling Stars had a pink one........glad to know.

Happy happy birthday , JuneyBug

Oh, I love the looks of those things! I finally was able to get on to that Bloominjungle website! When I tried earlier it was just sitting there and not transmitting ... and we have high speed internet service! The panel's with the holes cut out to fit over the trays are a very ingenious idea. Looks like they would be great for wick watering. Do the pots/cups fit snugly down into the openings?

Gail, What an AWESOME collage photo! A Rainbow of Gessies, Love it!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I was looking for a bouquet of flowers and came across this collage when I was selling leaves of streps on DG!

Gail, I googled and found one, Streptocarpus Fleischle Genesis. Scroll down this page to see it: http://www.streptocarpus-info.com/tablef.html

Phoebe: Great looking plants! What is that little mini looking AV in the photo, the on the left with the kinda lime green variegated foliage ... oooh, and also that little one right in front of it?

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Lin--
Lime green=Rob's Bunny Wabbit--obviously has done a nice job suckering---I'll get to it....

Little one in front is Teeny Bopper-it's a mini trailer

The bell shaped flower in the earlier post is another mini --Bellawood Trail

(Zone 1)

Oooh, I just had to go google that Rob's Bunny Wabbit to see the blooms! What a beautiful little AV! Now, is this considered a trailer, or just a mini? Check out these photo's at that Chinese website, Dolly's: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-TW&u=http://www.dollyyeh.idv.tw/picture.htm&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=5&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3DAfrican%2BViolet%2BRob%2527s%2BBunny%2BWabbit%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

Thanks so much LIn.........now I know where the leaf came from. A lady who has some Fleischle streps.......again gracias!

(Zone 1)

You are welcome, Gail ... I can't remember the word for welcome in Spanish, or I would post it here, LOL. I always wanted to learn another language or two, would love to be able to speak fluently in French and Spanish. Aaaah, but some would say I have enough trouble with English! ^_^

Wow!! I dont have any blooms right now! I'm just stoppin by to get my daily flower fix, and as always, you all have supplied more than enough!! Very nice!!!!

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Lin--to answer you question--yes the pots/cups fit quite snugly in the openings. Whats in that big bottle on the floor next your plant stand? I'd love to see it!

Jim--maybe you would know the name of that strep that looks like falling stars only the flowers are pink? I had it once--prolly got it at Logees--but I lost it awhile ago and would like to replace it. I think it had a girl's name--not sure, but I will recognize it if I see it.

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Could it be Strep Gloria your thinking about? It's is a sport of Falling Stars.

http://www.streptocarpus-info.com/tableg.html

I LOVE LOGEES!!!!!!! And really miss going there. ^_^

I had to look at everyones beautiful pictures again.I'm falling in love with the mini AV's!

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

I think it might be Gloria--name sounds vaguely familiar--but the description is right on. I love going to Logees--when were you there last Jan?

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

I am not posting this for the blooms-- but the containers;) I have been looking for something to hold my mini-sinns and enough water for wicking since I didn't want to plant directly into a snifter etc. Found these yesterday at the thrift shop-- I think they were for floating candles and they work perfectly. I have been carrying a little pot ^_^ in my purse and trying on glassware for a while. got 3 for .25 ea. Think I will keep my eye out for more.
