I would like to plant some spicebush shrubs. I was wondering if any of you have some to sell, or know of a source for them. I have named myself spicebush-btfly so I really need spicebush. Thanks.
Would like to buy sicebush
There is a feature here called Plant Scout where you can look up vendors who sell a particular plant. There are two plants that I know of that are called spice bush, there's Lindera benzoin and also some species of Calycanthus are called that as well. Here are the Plant Scout listings for both since I have no idea which one you meant.

(if you click on the name of the plant, it'll take you to the Plant File entry and in many cases there'll be pictures there to help you figure out if it's the plant you wanted)
Thank you ecrane3.
I will go to the link you suggested and see what I can come up with.

I just bought 6 spicebush bareroot plants (Lindera benzoin) on ebay from violavalleywildflowers. I just checked and he has more available there now. Seven seedlings were sent though I only bought six. They shipped quickly and had a good root system except for one plant; that one with truncated roots must have been the "bonus" plant. Hope they survive; I planted them where it is difficult to water while they are getting established....
Today there are 2 other sellers offering spicebush on ebay.com; don't know how they rate.
Good luck!
