January II Blooms

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I have to confess, Jim, that they are moving out this weekend. I have no room for them, but there will be plenty of people who will have them come spring.

I love that "when I'm all growed up"!!!

What do you mean? I am turning 67 and still can't decide what I want to be when I 'grow up'. In fact, I don't like reality very much. I just like 'magic'.

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Reality is a frame of mind . . . I don't plan on growing up anytime soon . . . but it doesn't hurt to try to plan ahead!

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

Unfortunately--I growed out instead ofup. ^_^
Beautiful plants as always Gail-- you definately got the "touch".

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am the only person I know who hasn't had any teeth (at all) for over 6 months due to some dental surgery...........and I haven't lost one single pound! (LOL) I, too, have grown out instead of up, Gran.

You only have to try and plan ahead when you are young , nichole........when you get old, you just get up in the morning and thank the Good Lord that you got to wake up that morning.

Don't think we 'old' ladies don't remember what energy it took to rear our children and do exactly what you young ones are doing right now..........I call it "paying my dues"........I have paid my dues with all the responsibilities of rearing children, working, etc. Getting old is fun.

Having said all of this, now I have to find a picture from somewhere on my puter.......this is before I started putting names on last year. She looks a little like Hera maybe....
good night!

Morning All,
I have bronchitis and a sinus infection... I have had it for awhile and so did everyone in the house then mine got worse so doc's it was... Now on antib's, steroids, cough meds, and a lot of other crap...LOL I am not going to take pictures now but when I get home from work and if I am not fully dead my Japanese strep Kimi bloomed and the Sako is on her second bloom and much pretty then the first... I like how they are a more delicate flower.. At first I did not like it but I think they are so cute..
Going to take my cough meds and rest again before going to work... Will try to get pictures later of the two streps... All my streps are blooming and I have to say this is when I love them the most... Gloomy days and a sunshine of flowers in the house....
