I bought a ornamental pepper plant over the summer and the peppers have all shriveled up. Is this normal?

Yeah, Mine do that every year. I usually prune the plant and keep it on the drier side until spring, then it perks up and grows and blooms again.

The shriveled peppers contain the seeds.
