Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful pictures! Love those goldfinches and the flicker and hummers! Wow! Great job everybody.

I saw a kinglet out the window. When I came back with my camera, he flew off, but then I saw this Carolina Wren. It's a dark day and the pic is through a window!

Rose, those might be some of your best pictures and that is saying a LOT!!! I love the Purple Finch, the Sapsucker and the Pine Siskins -- oh shoot, I love them all.

PERTH, Australia

Wonderful pics, Rose. Absolutely love the last one.

GP, you still keeping those Painted Buntings to yourself? Where's you Christmas spirit? I was expectig a delivery more than a week ago.

Love the Flicker, Nanny.

All really lovely shots of beautiful birds and if I stay here and comment on them all I'll be late to the Ospreys nest. This is a Willie Wagtail from the Osprey site, probably one of the ones that drive the Kookaburras and Ospreys to distraction.

Great photos everyone. Did you see our Christmas present from Dave? - Bird Files at last!

Margaret, they are MINE....ALL MINE!!!!! Actually I have talked to several people from the area who have seen these guys visiting their backyards during the winter, so it must be a well advertised vacation spot at the Painted Bunting travel agency - or maybe they get a group rate;)

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Thanks Margaret and Elph!

Margaret I love that Wattlebird and Willy Wagtail! I think the Willy Wagtail is becoming one of favorite birds with his small stature but brave heart!

GP...we had a Painted Bunting reported all summer about an hour from our house and after DH saw your pics we will be on the hunt this next year! He really does live up to his name!

Here is a Mourning Dove from yesterday.
