New fridge because my old one went out about Dec. 21 st. It is nice to have one again.
Good thing Lingernot is wearing warm clothes!
A frige is something a person can't do without! Congrats! Nice Christmas Cactus, they never want to bloom for me, you must have the right touch.
How awful to have the fridge go out just before Christmas. Looks like Lingernot has given his approval on the new one! Don't get frostbite little guy.
Well Lingernot didn't stay to long in the fridge. He wanted to check it out but decided it was to cold. I fixed him some hot chocolate and he took a nap. I didn't want him to catch a cold.
Thanks about the Christmas cactus. I didn't get as many blooms as I had hoped for.

Lingernot here: Did you see me try to sneak up on Coco? Makshi has been feeling poorly for a couple of days so I thought I better check in. She will be on tomorrow I hope. Check out this picture.

Lingernot here: Makshi has had me up in the hanging hoya plant looking for blooms. I hated to tell her that there doesn't appear to be anything at all going on. She really wants a bloom and was hoping I would see one or the start of one up close to the plant. She has been waiting a long while for one of the hoya to bloom.
Good morning all. I am feeling better today and see that Lingernot has been here. I think my DS logged him on to post.
He was looking around at the plants that are sitting in are bathroom and look what he found. These are my DS plants and he has about 50 of them in different sizes. I am not sure what it is with them but he loves them.

Yes, they are kalanchoes. I should be getting Lingernot of to you CMoxon by the first of the week depending on the weather.

I can't get warm. It is very cold here today at 2degrees about. I am sitting here shaking as I type. Poor little Lingernot was to get warm also. I told him I didn't think it was warm where he is going.
Makshi, Yikes! Better than the - degree weather some other ladies I know were talking about, but it makes me happy that we have 37 degree weather.
It's minus 16 here today, not including the wind chill. Wind chill warning here, for down to minus 25.
All of a sudden I feel very warm with my low thirties! I don't think I will ever envy anyone that lives up north! Brrrr!!!
I would love the thirties and I hope it doesn't get that cold here Cmoxon. I wouldn't warm up ever. :) I have to keep the air kind of cool for my breathing and when I do my body hurts. I can't win. I so wish I could move to where it doesn't get any colder than say maybe 45-45.

Lingernot, do you want to come back to California? We are having some very warm days, just like summer. We had to turn the air conditioner on in the car the other day when we had errands to run.

He really is such a love and likes everyone.
It looks like he will have sheep and chickens (I seem to recall additional critters as well?) to keep him warm in IA, so that will be good! I won't tell you what temp is here, but we are in big trouble due to warm temps and lack of rain. It is really nice now, but won't be as nice come summer if there isn't enough water :-(.
7 sheep, 4 llamas, 20 goats (maybe babies due in the next week), 2 miniature donkeys, 11 ducklings, one adult Muscovy duck, 4 roller pigeons, 1 regular pigeon, and a greyhound. :-)
Wow!!! That's a lot of animal body heat to keep Lingernot warm! I hope Lingernot gets to see the baby goats...they are soooo cute.
It does sound like Lingernot will get a lot of warmth from the animals. Oh, I've never seen baby goats! I think I missed out on a lot of baby animals.

CMoxon.....Sounds like a place I would love to visit. Lingernot...get a hold of yourself. Screaming is not becoming. I know how brave you are (remember the big duck?), so calm down. It's a new adventure, all those animals will keep you warm. 4 Llamas, how exciting!! And baby goats, how special is that? Don't forget your afghan when you leave.
I'm trying to not complain about my low 30's, I know it's colder where a lot of you are. But darn it! I'm cold tonight, too. LOL

Today is much better - it is only minus 5 this morning instead of yesterday's minus 18. I can deal with this better. My face doesn't hurt when I go outside.
No baby goats yet, we are keeping a watch on her!
Look for a really big box and don't be surprised at what's in it. I love baby animals :)

I'm glad you set me straight on that dahlianut. I did know about the stork and now I'm learning about all the animals and how they come into our lives. I'm no longer confused. Thanks........^_^
