Lingenot was so excited to welcome Gnicholas (Gnick) to his new home. I'm sure they will be sad to part this week.

Well, here are my last pictures with little Lingernot.
When Lingernot told me of his adventures, he said how he loved Aroids that he had seen. "WELL" I exclaimed, "I have just the thing to show you."
So down we went to the basement where I have some plants from the garden under grow lights. I was very excited that my transplanted Elephant Ears were doing so well. This was the first time for growing them, let alone taking them inside for the winter. All but one of the leaves died back, but I have new ones now.
Lingernot examines the leaf more closely.
Then Lingernot spied my Kong coleus that is wintering in the basement.
AS we talked about the garden, we got on the subject of Shelia's butterflies. Lingernot was excited to know that we have butterflies in the north too. I showed him my Black Swallowtails that are overwintering in the garage.
The overwintering butterflies are so cool Mrs_Ed. Lingernot looks very amazed too.
I'm amazed too!! I wish I had your basement. Congratulations on the Elephant Ears.
Thanks Sally. I really didn't want to start over again with bulbs in the spring. I wanted to have big plants right away!
Well, Lingernot is on his way to Indiana. It was definitely sad to say goodbye!
He is on the way goodie. It is going to get cold so hope he stays warm on the trip here.
He is wrapped tightly in his afghan and has his traveling buddies cuddling him.
And protecting his hat LOL
Lingernot here. I arrived yesterday late. Makshi's son found me waiting on the front porch and took me inside. Makshi let me out of the box and I was so cold to the touch she made a bed for me. I am scared a little because it looks like a zoo. There are cages with funny sounds coming out of them. I don't want to see what is in them. There appears to be a problem with the camera this morning so will get a pic later. I got to run because I see Makshi coming and I don't want to know I think it is scarey here.
I see Lingernot let you all know he arrived. I will explain to him that he has nothing to be afraid of. We will let nothing happen to him while he is here. He slept well and had a roll and coffee this morning. Will post pictures later because of minor glich with the camera.
So happy to hear Lingernot is once again safely in another's home. Post pictures and Happy New Year All.

No kiddin Sheila. I'm hangin on the edge of my seat and I made popcorn cuz I bet it's gonna be wonderful.
Starting out the new year in Indiana, glad Lingernot is settled in for a while. Looking forward to pictures.

Lingernot here- Well I made it through another night without being eaten by anything.
Meals have been a little odd because of no frig. We have had soup and peanut butter sandwiches.
They are very good because of the apricot jam on them.

I see Lingernot has been here before me again. I think he is having a good time. He slept in this morning because he said he is still a little tired. I am not sure what we will do today yet.
