JIM
Nice setup you have there, Jim! I can't wait until I'm all growed up like that! That's a pretty pink on that last one, there.
I love all those wooden shelves! Nice set up, Jim!
Very Nice Jim!!
Wow! That first Sinningia is really huge! It doesn't look like S. Licoutricha though: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/98721/
What a great growing set-up you have there, Jim! Really nice! I sure wish my growing area could be so nice and neat, seems the older I get, the lazier I get and nothing is organized or neat anymore!
Your "Honey" is adorable! My husband and I are real cat lovers, we have 3 kitties in our family. We'd love to have a dog again some day but the kitters are old and we don't think it would be good to try to introduce a canine into the mix!
This is "Miss Princess" - she was my Mom's cat, we inherited her when my Mom passed a few years ago. I've always said she should have been named "Queen" because she wants to rule the house! She is always picking fights with the other two. At first they were scared to death of her but they soon learned to stand up to her and now they tolerate each other. None of them have claws so it's just a lot of paw batting and hissing and screaming ... not fun to be woken up in the middle of the night with the loud screeching/hissing but all we have to do is say "knock it off girls" and whichever ones are going at it immediately stop and go their separate ways!
Oh, that last pink Sinn. (Ozark Rosy Cheeks?) is really pretty!
What pretty kitties! Love the pretty flowers too!
Hello All,
Hope you all had a great Christmas... We sure did ... I also got a cold from the GC.... Never knew my nose could have so much junk up there...LOL
Wow to that Sinn.... I have a few in bloom now and Peachy Propeller is blooming but not fully open yet... I can't wait to see her....
Someone posted where they get there heat packs from and I can't find it... Anybody know where it was? Or where the post might be??? I can't find it...
Hugs,
Susan

Goldleaf is the one who found it. I just bookmarked it.
I got bored yesterday, so took sister and the kids and went nursery hopping . . . the first one we came to had a bolt lock on the gates, so they weren't open yet. And, wouldn't you know it, we just happened to be headed towards Seguin! Still, managed to stay under $20.00. I saw a begonia with weird leaf pattern (not that most aren't weird) - took a pic with sisters camera, so I can post it in the id forum.
How fun!! Post the pic here too-- I wanna see!! That is what my good friend and I hope to do tomorrow--there aren't many (any) nurseries with indoor plants within a 60 mile radius of here. We are going to go to College of the Ozarks greenhouses in Mo. Hopefully they will be open even tho it is Christmas break. Something about this time of year makes me crave contact with (someone else's) plants.
That nursery in Seguin has the best selection of begonias. Knowing that I will get to go to that nursery takes away the anticipated pain from more dental surgery (lol)
Rub it in Gail;)
You would go nutso, Gran, if you could see their begonias in everything from a 6" pot for 6.95 to giant hanging baskets very reasonably priced.
I bet I would-- I go nuts in just about any nursery since there aren't any nearby. Sometimes I just need a plant "fix". A nursery full of begonias would be a real treat and a drain on my wallet I'm sure!! Take a few pics when you go!!
I have posted pics from the past but will take new ones, too....
Aw, man . . . it's a bit fuzzy enlarged. Sorry!
Very cool!! I love begonias!!
Very pretty Coral Reef, Susan!
What do you think . . . can we last the next day and a half on this thread, or should we start a new one?
It's a little long for dial up users I think-- but why not start a "New Years blooms"? that way it can carry over until we need a jan. bloom thread.
