I have some spots growing on my Kalanchoe donkey-ears that I thought were sunburns but seem to be getting worse even though the plant is now inside. Can anyone identify what these spots are?

Can anyone ID
It's hard to tell for sure because the picture is out of focus but it looks like it could be edema which causes the cells to absorb too much water and burst. Edema is often caused by in consistent watering. If the plant dries out too much, then the next time it's watered it takes up more water than it should, almost as if it doesn't know when it will get water again, so it hoards it. It's pretty much just cosmetic damage and shouldn't really hurt the plant's health.
Thanks for the info plantfreak78.
No problem. Edema always looks worse on succulent plants because the leaves are thicker so the sunken spots are more pronounced. Just keep the waterings more regular and the new growth should come out looking much better.
While we're on the subject of this plant, someone gave me one last summer, and it was very small. I'm surprised at how large the leaves are getting and am wondering how large the plant gets after a few years. Does it stay low, or get taller?
Someone on Dave's says up to 4' but everywhere else I checked says 2' when blooming. I've never grown this particular Kalanchoe so I can't say for sure.
I LOVE this plant! The little spots on the leaves that add texture make it interesting, and the shade of green is very nice. The leaves on mine are getting quite large, and it has some new leaves, but it hasn't grown vertically at all, so I was just wondering. I just need to be patient. Thank you.
plantfreak78 and dp72,
This plant does indeed get very large but it's a horizontal growth instead of vertical unless it's growing influorescence.
Thank you, nbrookey. I did a Google image search and see what you mean. I'm disappointed. I love the textured look of the leaves but don't like the form the plant takes as it matures according to the photos and what you told me.
