Well today, had a nice time working on my apron... OHWAH! finished it too. And i am pleased to say turned out nice.
While working on that, I watched this show that DH and I watch together. Only we haven't in a while, but DVR'd them so I enjoyed mini marathon. 9 today!

My girlfriend in Rockford said they got 3 inches Monday and about 3 more inches I think it was weds. to where the smaller schools like Pecatonica were closing early.

Need to get a few things done around here before leaving to shop for my MOB dress. Watched the movie 27 dresses last night (I never sit down long enough to watch a whole movie but was too tired to do anything else). OMG - there were so really awful dresses!

Debra, have you decided on a color of a dress you're in search for?

Hi Deborah, what's a night owl like you doing up so early? No, haven't made any final decision about color. It's amazing what looks good with brown and pink that I never would have imagined. I'm keeping an open mind. Did try on a group of pieces in both moss green and what they call teal but it's an irredesant blue with copper sheen to it. Very pretty. I liked them both but am thinking I may need brighter colors because I'm so washed out - don't need any more help there.

You'll find just the right one. And it's so much fun shopping for it!

I went to bed so early last night so I got up very early. Got cleaning to do today and maybe clean out a flower bed if it's going to be sunny today.

IDid you miss me I now what dial up means I am still up at my Dads and I just hread the snow plow go by so my sister and I will have to go and shovel. We had a nice nite I made that shepard pie and got a bottle of Wine Cooks Extra dry mix with oj sister got Melot Dad sleepping time tea watch a few things had to watch Vana My Dad just love Vana. We Watch a movie called Narnda it was good
So now we have to do xmas for Dad

Cindy, you are so busy with all of those candles, and the reindeer, have a great time with the fesival of lights.

It is only 29 here this morning, and my brugs are starting to wilt, so if anyone wants any of them, please let me know. They are all NOIDs, except the pink insignis, and a pink velvet. I have no clue what the other colors are, they have not bloomed for me yet, except for one real pretty orange one.
I will have them soaking in water, so let me know if you wnat them now, or when they get rooted, maybe later this spring?
I will put your name on the known ones, in the order they come in. There will probably be about 5-6 cuttings of each, maybe more?

Good morning all...

I know I've been missing for the last day or so and Im sorry its been alittle nuts aroound here...

I glazed Tonys walls.. First a small section with the tuape and you could not even ee it.. Then I mixed the two and did a bigger section to see if I would lik eit but it didnt turn out.. Looks bad really bad...lol So as soon as I am able I will be primering the enire room and going back in after to re-paint it the tan color... But first I need to finish recovering from my fall off the bed the other day.. I have been realy sore and moving slow..

I havent gotten alot done other than re-claiming the front porch as a spot to relax after cleaning up and repainting a few chairs with some spray paint I had in the laundry room. Th eweather has been so nice and I have so much I really need to get done outside so hopefully my knee and back will be better today after I eat and take afew bayer...

Christmas is rolling in fast and it seems like everyone is having a really rough time right now. My best friend in Ohio has been calling me non-stop. Shes going through alot right now and it makes me so mad that I can teven be there to hug her and tell her it will all be okay. She has 4 children and a deadbeat husband who makes her feel worthless. I just wish I could take her away.. We have been friends since we were 5 and it kills me knowing she is in pain...

My grandmother fell nd cracked a rib and banged up her knee pretty badly.. So my sister and I have been trying to get her to go to an assisted living facility but shes fighting it hard because they want her to give up her car and drivers liscence. This in itself is a great idea simply ecause she cant drive like she should anyway, she cant see, she scares all of us and she has wrecked a few times already. We didnt think they would renew her DL this year but somehow she got them to give them to her again.. We think she baked cookies......lol

My friend here in Jax had moved a friend she met over the internet in with her.. Well thats been a disaster as well. Turned out he has a major drinking problem and when she had enough and told him to go he ended up being hualed out by the police. Apparently he calle dthe hospital and told them he was having suicidal thoughts. Hes in a re-hab place now. diagnosed bipolar, need a hip replacement (they say its bone on bone), and is going through 24/7 lockdown and counciling... So I have been trying to help my girlfriend here deal with those issues...

To top it all off the heater core went out in our truck... UUUGGGHHHHH

Sorry for rambling on.... Been a hard few days..

Well off to the post office here in a few... I post a post last night and it went poof.... Well I can't remember names but I wanted to say the young lady in the wedding dress was just simply beautiful....You looked wonderful..... Ok I think it is Judy making the quilt? Ok I like the one on the left so if you do to you can just package up the one on the right and send to me...LOLOLOL I think it is Kathy if not sorry but I love your apron... Just so pretty.. I still have one or two from my mom and I remember her using them as a child... very pretty pattern....
Not that anyone has called me from this group but wanted to say if someone does and I don't have my phone book near I don't answer... or if it say blocked call .... I am sorry about your chickens and your horses... about 8 years ago we had 4 tiny dogs poisoned that were inside a fenced in yard... They never bothered a soul.. they bait feed them. Farmers dogs got his also... Now his dogs roam all over... They did not get two of my dogs because at the time we had a Puppy Rosa and Cindy the oldest would tend to her so I always took them outside in the back... People can be very hateful... I hope they catch who did this to you and if not and you live in the country get a gun and load it and if you ever hear something you don't like shoot once at the tops of the trees I then yell the next shot if for you butt... I can also come down and bring all the boys BIG guns as mine is just a shot gun... LOLOL

Debra, yes I do make votives. I'm going to be trying my hand at makeing some different shaped pillars. A gal that I worked with had a friend that passed away and she told her to give me the molds. There must be $250 worth of molds. Also I'm going to make pastry lokking candles, like pies, cobblers, smores etc. I hoping to put together gift baskets in the Spring that will include lotions, body sprays, body wash, etc..............

Thanks, We gave the horses away yesterday. One went to a little girl, she wanted a pony for christmas. The other one is a a ranch just up the road and he will be for little kids to ride. Punk boy will be able to go and ride him whenever he wants to.

yes I do have a shot gun and I am not afraid to use it. i have the gates all locked up now, so if this person wants to come back in and do it again then they will have to work for it. I have a pretty good idea who. It had to be someone that knows my dogs. Or the dogs would have went nuts on them especially the Great Pyrenees. He would not have let them near my house. And my little dogs would have barked their heads off at someone they didnt know.
