TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Yep, and we ain't goin' nowhere. Then you can also bet that Sis Kathy will call me after the game... just to force me to say "Rolll Tide" if Bama won, and that name which begins with "S"!

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

You ladies actually watch football? I can't stand it or basketball either. Nascar for me

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

OMG Marion!! Toilet Bowl???? Such a strong word, coming from you!! LOLOL!!!!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Yeap until I get angry and start throwing things then I am usually asked to leave the room. LOL

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh, so sorry!!! But where else are they in line to go?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Never could get into NASCAR.. football is another matter.. the scheming is what gets me :D

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Oh we can make virgin drinks not a problem ...like daiquiris and such LOL

Marion if I can find the link again I found the other day after I had already done the chicken I'll share it LOL

I've been good got one project all done!!!!
and just have to do a few more pieces and will have the bag for om done and then just have to do the backing for the small lap quilt and figure out how to get it quilted without costing a fortune so it will be done by x-mas

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Kel says, circles Marion....circles.
He gets dizzy driving around BurgerKing to get through the drive-thru!!
LOLOLOL!!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Jaye, what kind of candle scents do you like?

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

OH Phyllis, you have been busy while we have been chatting. That is what I need to go do--get busy on something constructive not destructive.!!!

Oh thanks, I would love to see the site and read if it is beyond my capabilities. To bad we aren't closer, I know a lady in High Springs, FL that does beautiful quilting (machine) and is very reasonable. Trouble is you have to book about 2 -3 months ahead for things.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

ROFLOL--tell Kel he is a wise man indeed!!!

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

But Marion I've been doing it and posting too ...maybe not posting alot but a few times LOL

just got this in an email and thought I would share it with everyone
XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL

This is a great program, and it just takes a couple of seconds to send a card.

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.
Please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you's.

Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wow, finally got caught up reading everything. All kinds of chicken drinks, tomato soup, baby chickens with no hair, football....
Makes me tired just reading it all.
BJ, so glad you are feeling better. Let us all know when you hear about your specialist appointment.

next time you all have tomato soup, try making a grilled cheese sandwhich, with a big slice of fresh tomato inside. Mmmmm, so good.

Good night everyone.
LK

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Oh I forgot...GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....ROFL..I'm save for now neither bears or vikings have scored LOL

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Night LK.

Thanks for the link Phyllis. We must never forget our brave men and women..

Good Lord.. Marion, 2-3 months ahead?? Wow, then she is reasonable.
I hadn't attempted to ask anyone to do it here... the prices scare me. Guess because there's only one quilting shop that does it. Unless Tina in MB, knows of some who do it at their homes.
So, in the meantime, I just do it on my machine, very simple lines or the meandering almost stippling kind.

Favorite scent... hmm.. anything citrusy Cindy!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Ooohhh Amazing Race is on!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes, she is very reasonable. In fact today was my friend in G'ville birthday so I called. In the conversation I asked what she was doing special and her reply: finishing my grandson's quilt to go be quilted on Tuesday. Had the appointment for 2 months!!! I have seen the lady's work and it is very nice machine quilted--price I think is to reasonable.

I have wanted a quilting machine for a very long time but just wonder if I have the capabilities of learning to use one. They are too expensive to just sit and collect dust!!! Hummm more thinking to be done.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Are those quilting machines those huge things where you can make all kinds of designs?

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

well I am off to the tubby for some bubbles LOL.
but I'm sure I'll pop back in before i hit the sack..dang tomorrow is Monday and back to work ..BUT only 3 weeks and we'll be off for 2 weeks ...whoo hooo I think LOL

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

It can be. The come in just about all sizes now with various capabilities.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Enjoy your bath Phyllis. I am off to finish a project I vowed I would finish before going to bed tonight. So good night all!!

Only 12 days of school here!! Daughter is counting not me.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

yeah and there are sewing machines now to that do it but too rich for my blood LOL

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well mine is supposed to be able to do stippling but I haven't tried it yet. Does need to be a long arm to do it well and not be bulky.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Since I've had my hot tub I hardly use the bathtub anymore. So it has become my new hot house. I have a brug sitting in it now that is about 4 feet tall.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Wow Cindy!! I bet it still has buds..
Marion, there's the Voyager 17, about 2,400. Much cheaper than the Gammil. But I'm sure, if money's not an issue, the Gammil's it!!

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Susan!!!! OK.. did you get the message from Kim??
I'll dmail you tomorrow.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Please, don't be be down by yourself.. complain here.. rage.. shout.. we are here, Susan.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Jaye, my brug is blooming, only one though. It was loaded but I had to move it out into the living room for a few days and it was too hot and about 8 buds fell off :(. I still have one outside that has about a million buds and some will be opening soon. I keep hoping that this warm weather will stay a few more days so it will bloom I want to take pix of it to see what kind it might be. The one in my bathroom I got from another DGer and she didn't know the name as she got it from someone else.

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Yes I got Kim's message... She is a sweetheart... I don't know what to complain about...LOL Just life has a way at times of doing this to me... I can't help it.. Always at this time of year it comes... I will be fine as tomorrow is always a new day... Trust me I will be fine and than you all for caring....
Oh the name change is because I always hated using my name so I joined the two things I liked , Turtles and Chihuahuas.... So that his how I got the name....
Hugs,
Susan

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Yeah for Chis who actually think they are the giants of dogdom!!! We can always make sure your favorite bottle is around Susan.. Marky's Post isn't it.. or something Mark's.. my memory is so poor..
Cindy, I miss the blooms. Only camellias are in bloom outside now. Since Kel has closed in the porch, I have a 12 X 24 'nursery' for the brugs. Can you imagine come spring.. how many holes he has to dig!!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

All I have in bloom is a yellow Hollyhock and a dark purple petunia.
