I have lots of mites, very small flies, and what appear to be podurid springtails in two of my veggie beds. How do I rid my garden of these pests?

Hi there, fellow gardeners. I probably should clarify what is going on in my garden. I looked at
DG's bug chart and seemed to identify prodruid springtails....or what appear to be very small white bugs with a number of little legs and two little feelers. There are thousands of these, I figure.

Today I used Neem oil and diatamaceous earth. There are still lots of these little bugs; but, some of them, I can tell, are not feeling well.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? And how can I get rid of these pests?

The mites seemed to have diminished.
