First time poater here. I have 3 yoshino cherry trees in my yard in new hampshire 2 are doing great ones is questionable. I noticed earlier this year some brown sappy material on the tree in question and that it had later had several branches without leaves. I think I identified that later as gummosis? Yesterday after coming home in the mulch around the tree I saw all of these things. No clue what they are and need help identifying. What are they. What do I do to treat them and the gummosis. How bad is this?

It does appear to be a fungal problem. The things in the mulch appear to be fungal as well. I'd try a copper spray and see if that helps.
