One plant that I've found grows well indoors and survives despite occasional over and under watering is Cyperus alternifolius.

I've grown this in both south and east windows.

As long as it has enough light, it can handle plenty of water, and even the lack of it once in a while. It won't tolerate being left dry for a long period of time, however.

This plant even has a variegated form!

Sure! I don't have my own photo, but there are several in the PlantFiles here on DG.

I see that they're now calling it Cyperus involcratus, and that C. alternifolius is a 'synonym'.

Here's the DG Plantfiles page for it.
Note that most of the people who have commented have grown it *outdoors*...but I can vouch for the fact that it does well indoors, too, with adequate light.
It doesn't need direct sun all day. It grew very well in an east window at my home.

I can vouch for this plant being able to handle overwatering. It seems to thrive on it. I grow it as a houseplant and overwinter it inside here in Ohio as our winters are very cold and harsh. Even at 50 degrees in an eastern or northern window in winter it looks as good as it did when it was outside. Great plant. Love it!

Try Ardisia Elliptica. Being in Iran, I think it's safe for you to have it (it's a banned plant in Florida and Hawaii because it spreads like crazy like a weed in their wet, marshland conditions).

Here's a good link for info on it http://plantsarethestrangestpeople.blogspot.com/2007/11/kamaaina-ardisia-elliptica.html
