How do I take care of my kumquat tree now that it's indoors? It was doing fine on my sunny deck and I want to be sure it makes it thru our Pennsylvania winter.
Kumquat Nagami
Keep it in your absolute 'sunniest' window.
Let the soil dry slightly before watering.
Did it bloom while it was outdoors?
Mine would grow fruits indoors during the winter....hope yours does!
Thanks, Nan...yes it did bloom and the scent was wonderful! It does have some fruit. My house isn't the sunniest and of course the days are short but I do have a florscent bulb in a lamp over it to extend the light.
