I don't know about that, but if you go browse the Test forum, you can see what people practice with . . . I pop in every once in a while to my thread there just to try something.
That's something Dave told us how to do a few months back. It only works on DG. You hold down your shift key with your left hand and then click on the number 6 key, the underline key and the 6 key again. It will look like a little kitty cat face even if you preview, but once you hit send it shows up as the smiley face!
So, hold down shift and type 6underline6 (no spaces between them) ^-^
after you hit send it should show up in your post as ^_^

I tried the symbols like the heart and musical notes ... heart symbol is supposed to be alt & number 3, musical notes alt and number 13 & 14. Doesn't work for me, I think it's because we have Macintosh computers!

Ok, before I embarrass myself with the post of my Bingo Hat, this first picture is of the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor. Night launches are so beautiful! Kennedy Space Center is about 40 miles down the coast from us but we get great views from our front yard! It's really amazing to watch from the beach because there's nothing interrupting the view like electrical wires, trees etc. With night launches the sky lights up real bright and then all of a sudden you see like a fireball come into view! We can actually see the trajectory and separation of the solid rocket boosters! I never get tired of watching!
You can't see much in this picture since we don't have a powerful camera but this is the shuttle launch from a few minutes ago.
And now ~ ~ ~ ~ Drum Roll ~ ~ ~ ~ I know y'all are going to laugh WITH me and not AT me. ^_^
My antenna's (or is the plural just antenna?) weren't cooperating totally, I tried to turn them in different directions to make it fair for everyone ... one kept falling so I had to hold it in place.
zzzzzzzzaaaaaaaappppppp %*#@$%&@% OOPS ... detecting some static %*&@% ...
Hopefully the signal will come through for those of you with just a couple of calls, and Jannich will catch the signal out Alabama way, and the connection will be positive! ^_^
... and, I know my dear mom in heaven, is smiling and laughing her head off at this picture! The hat was her sun bonnet and when she passed away my sisters were going to sell it at the yard sale. I said NO WAY, I was keeping it as a memento. I glued silk flowers, ribbon and the little watering can charm onto it and it hangs in my Florida room amongst some of my plants. My Mom wasn't much into gardening, never had the chance, having to work full time to help support her family. But, she loved flowers and plants and loved seeing all of my plants whenever she came to visit. After retirement she had some major health issues but was still able to have a few houseplants to enjoy.

I really hate, detest getting my picture taken! Look at my awful skin! And, the lighting in the picture is pretty bad ... makes my teeth look very yellow. I don't have the whitest teeth out there but they sure aren't as bad as that picture shows. I really wish I had known back in the 60's and 70's how the sun damages the skin! Arrrrgh! I remember so clearly pouring on pure baby oil and baking on the beach! My face shows the damage. I have on no makeup and look how blotchy and red my face looks! UGH!

My goodness, Thank You both for the compliments. I do not like the picture and would like to ask Admin to delete that picture after the game is over, LOL. I had been outside playing in the dirt all day, had showered and washed my hair and but had done nothing to it ... it was still damp. I just don't like having my picture taken, I look at it and see even more flaws than are visible when I look in the mirror! ^_^ Oh well ... 60 and counting, can't do much about it when I don't have the money for plastic surgery and even if I did, I'm a big chicken when it comes to needles and such anyway! Although plastic surgery allows one to look younger on the outside, you can't really do anything about the actual age of the body and all the rebelling it does with arthritis etc.
Ok ... I'm going to go check everyone's cards to see how many of you had today's call! Have a great afternoon everyone!
Are you kidding? You look great for 60...and for any age you look great. I'm 61 and everything is rapidly changing, sometimes at an alarming rate(for me anyway). I'm struggling to accept it....but sometimes...sigh! Violets and computers are good distractions--LOL
