I don't suppose there's any other watchers of Lucy Daughter of the Devil from Adult Swim?? No? didn't think so. oh well.
New addition......
Sophie-cam: that could be an international hit!
Is it synchronized swimming? I could do that I'm sure. Where do you join?
Sophie was made for the Santa suit! She gets so much love, she'll be the calmest bunny around! Lin--I noticed your post---are you near the Villages? We will be there at the end of the month if plans go accordingly.
You can count me in! Is that #4...or #5? Well then, Columbus is #6---do I see a Disney movie here?...."Sophie's Choice"
(she chose you and your DH....everything happens for a reason!)
I'll take #7, although I think I am a much higher number.
=^..^=
# 8 here.
Love the Sophiecam idea.
I'll be #9.
Karen
Well i'm sorry to say that one of the big brown outdoor bunnies was killed this week. I found him dead under Auntie's porch....it had 2 talon marks in it's side. I assume it pierced the bunnys lung or heart. I feel so bad for the other one now, it seems so lonely. I was out there today and it ran right up to me, let me pat him too this time.
Celeste, is that a wild bunny that let you pet it? Poor thing! Well, I guess the hawk's gotta eat, too. Maybe he should stick to squirrels.
Karen
#10 here.......and loving the idea of a Sophiecam!!! What do ya think, Celeste? A webcam for Christmas with a Youtube connection???? So sorry to hear about the demise of the Big Bunny. Can you bring the lonely guy in out of the cold????
No I don't think so Louise...he's been outside a long time and he's pretty big. I think it might be able to kick the kibbles out of me with it's back legs!!
Could you maybe fix him a cozy sheltered area(box lined w/blankets) near the porch with food so he won't have to forage for food and become prey for those hawks? Seeing you come out with his food every day would give him something to look forward to--hate to say it....but if he is coming up to you, he is domesticated and needs your help to survive. Where'd he come from anyway?
Already did...right under the porch next to the foundation. He dug the hole I supplies the rest. ^_^
You are a good bunny mom! ^_^
You are a good person.

This is a link to a New England news show that aired a segment about Rabbit adoption this morning. I'm thinking this group would love to know Sophie's story.
Thanks for the link....now DH is eyeing Oscar! lol
He's headed out to see if the big bunny is out and about...he stays under the plow truck and DS old Jeep thats not running right now. Hawk can't get him there and we don't use them right now so he's using it as shelter to go from the house to the woods and back.
LOL! I think he's got his hands full with Sophie and big bunny...Who I think should be given a name...
Bubba
That's a good one, Cat! I spit my coffee!!
O yes Bubba. I have 2 jackrabbits that hang under my mugo pine: Boris and Natasha ^_^
It was suning it's self so I sat down on the gorund while it ate some food. When it was done it washed up then layed down beside me about 2 ft away. After a few minutes it stretched out, hind legs extended straight and let me pat it for a few minutes. I'm sure it would of let me stay longer but after 15 minutes my butt was frozen and I didn't have long johns on so I HAD to come in. lol
Love the names dahlia! I have a daughter named Tarsha Monique, don't know how she'd feel about a name sake. lol
I haven't tried to pet Boris or Natasha. I just let them be wild and they in turn are very polite and don't eat my plants.
He has really big feet and very strong hind legs. Have you ever been kicked by a full grown one? I have and it ain't fun, it hurts like you know what!
Maybe part kangaroo?
I have a scar on the top of my arm from one i had when I was 16. Her name was Mandy, she was trained to walk on a leash and was really well behaved. Unless a dog was around at which point she would just freak out. I have the scar as a reminder of just how strong they can be!
They'e been known to kill cats here if cornered so I a very respectful. I try not to laugh when they pretend to be invisible either. We don't get much snow now so their white winter camoflague doesn't work too well.
Worked well for Harvey.
Pixie--was gonna ask you to post a pic, but didn't want to pressure you--I'm so glad you got a good shot of Bubba! What a sweet boy!
Ha-ha Victor!
I'm thinking this thread is getting long for some and hard to load so i'll start a new one .

OMG what pictures!
Anyone here interested in pitching in to the house rabbit thread I just started?
Well, Celeste! I came here to ask you to join me on the new rabbit thread--Nilly invited Columbus also! Looks like Nilly really did her homework!
So where's this thread? I can't find it! lol
Found it!!
