Is there a forum that you know of that deals with questions about chemicals and chemical reactions to different plant oils, etc. Thank you in advance for your reply.

There's not one specifically for that. If you've got a particular plant in mind that you're wondering about, I'd ask in the appropriate forum (vines & climbers, trees & shrubs, perennials, or one of the specific plant type forums).
I tried to find eucalyptus but I was unable to find a forum for that and I am not sure where it would be located.
They're trees, so I'd go to Trees & Shrubs

I'm sure they're at least shrubs, so they'd still fit. If they're not a tree or a shrub then I suspect they are misidentified.
