Well, there ya go: Yes and Yes! Neat, Kay - Thanks! Mine have not done that well this year. It's my first year growing them and they didn't get enough sun where I put them. But I have had several pods from which to harvest seed and next year I'll put them where they'll do better. :o)
Hi, I had real good luck with some Hyacinth beans this year BUT when the seed pods matured they were full of worms..the leaves & blooms were fine. I won't spray as I don't want to hurt the butterflies & hummers.. besides the state of Florida already did enough damage to the butterflies by spraying from the air a few weeks ago for mosquitos..
One kind gentleman here in DG sent me more for next year.

Hi! Y'all,I just wanted to tell you of my success a few years back.I haven't had any "luck" since ,and I used up all my seed tring again each summer. They germinater later .than they used to I've blue mg's blooming now.I planted,(previously)hyacinth beans and grampa ott morning glory ,and white hyacinth bean, around a small tree that was dying . I had two trees eight feet apart. around the other tree I planted scarlett O'hara mg., white hyacinth bean, and scarlett runner bean, wow! what a huge show of color! I have never been so proud since then ,but I keep trying:D
