I have a windmill palm in a large pot on the terrace. It is too heavy to bring inside and has lots of insects crawling in it (Asian centipedes are popular here and are quite poisinous). It has a wall to the North and full exposure to the south. I was going wrap the palm and the pot with bubble wrap. Most of the time winters are mild (now it is 75F) and the average extreme low is -8C. However sometimes it can reach -15C (when the cold Russian wind blows). Would I need any more protection? My palm is growing well here so far.

Do you have some burlap or something like that? Plastic isn't usually the best thing to use to wrap plants. If you don't have anything besides the bubble wrap, just make sure you put some stakes in the pot to keep the plastic from coming in direct contact with the leaves.
