Thanks, Chuck. I have a ton of forks and knives and little spoons, but we could use some plastic soup spoons if you can find some. I know I've seen them before, they have little round bowls. Don't worry about them, though.
I'll put you down for vegetable casserole.

March Mini-Round Up - Food
Wanted to say I have one crock pot we can use to keep soup warm, and we have electrical supply to the screened room now. Also, we have lots of ice packs and warming pans if they are needed for any other dishes. Just let me know what you need so I can prepare.
Anybody else got something for the list?
I'm bringing my soup in a crockpot...also, perhaps an antipasto tray.....
Yum. I'll make sure DH puts a power strip out.
Someone needs to tell me what to bring !
Your handsome self, for one thing...lol
JD -
1. Go to bakery.
2. Buy something that looks yummy.
3. Bring it with you.
4. We will eat it.
5. We will like you.
6. Everyone will be happy.
Kathleen :-)
LOL ! OK, I can definitely do that !
LOL! Make it sweet JD!

SW
Hi all, I'll bring the chips and dip
It's just around the corner now; looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new faces.
Arlene
It's you and me, Arlene...everyone else is sleeping.......lol....
Not quite. I woke up and realized DH probably didn't put the weed barrels out for trash tomorrow. I'll never get back to sleep!
Early bird gets the worm. When there is a demanding project to be done, it's much easier to work when you know the phone won't ring or DH won't be wanting something.
Hi! Seems we still need cheese? I can bring cheese!
I'm not asleep. Just moving very slow! ^_^
I'll be there, maybe not with bells on, unless they are Tinkerbells! LOL!
Can't wait to meet you all!
WIB,
SW
Blooms and I will bring hummus and tortilla chips. Sorry have been so quiet here! Looking forward to seeing everyone!
~'spin!~
I was raised by a deep South southern belle who was the best biscuit baker ever. (my opinion) Anyway that's certainly the tastiest thing I ever learned from her, so I'll bring a basket full of biscuits to go with all that soup. Maybe some homemade peach jam too.
Pirate, whoa! From real bread lover, that is outstanding. Sorry, all you folks on low-carb diets! LOL
'spin, you just made my DH and a lot of other people very happy. :-)
Yes ! You've been MIA for too long.
Just three more days!!!
Yes...I better start baking. NOT ! LOL
Okay, K, I need to renege on the soup....I won't have time that a.m......bringing an antipasto platter instead.
Sounds good!
Oh Yum...I had Donna's great salad with dinner tonight...DH loved it (he didn't know that there's feta cheese in it...lol)
Where'd you get the recipe? I went back for seconds and it was all gone!
Kathleen, Sherry dmailed and asked for it. Here it is.
1 1/2 heads of romaine lettuce ( I also add 1/2 head of Red leaf today.)
1cup of dried cran-raisins
1cup of toasted pine nuts
1 brick of feta cheese ( I used one package of the already crumbled one )
1 bottle of Brianna's Poppy Seed Dressing (add as much is needed for each preference)
Enjoy,
Donna
Thank you - it was great!
It was all gone because I ate it all......I finally got the recipe from her for the salad from last Fall also.....that's for tomorrow night.
OK, I know they won't be the same, but I found this today.

Sticks in my mind that Krusteaz makes a lemon bar mix, too, and I've gotten it at Costco.
I have a recipe that was given to me by my MIL; I can post it if you'd like---I'm sure it won't be the same as the one you had at the RU, but it's darn good!
In our office today, there was a bundt cake that tasted just like those lemon bars of Kanita's.
It vanished in about 15 minutes...just like the lemon bars did !
HUMMMMMMMMMMM!!! i'M HUNGRY, LOL!
If anybody wants the recipe for the lemon bars, just let me know. I will gladly share it as it is one of my great-grandmothers recipes.
kanita
Kanita, we all want the recipe! Thanks so much for offering to share it.

Thanks so much Kanita, we all loved the bars. I have an Eureka lemon tree so wonder if they will taste different. Mmmmmmm
Thank you Kanita. I'll fix them for our next pot luck.
