Hi,
Next year I'm planning on trying to grow some veg in the garden, it will be in pots, I'm just wondering can anyone recommend any shallow rooting veg?
We have thought about radishes, spring onions, the possibility of celery.
Thank you :)
Shallow Rooting Vegetables
swiss chard, spinich, garlic,Kolarabi[sp] beets. You don't say what size pots but the list goes on.
They are maybe 6 to 8" in depth...They are troughs so there is plenty of sideways space just not depth.
scratch the Kolarabi and the beets then unless you just want to eat the beet greens, add all the lettuce you can think of.
I was also thinking of lettuce as a possibility :-) thank you!
