What's your most disappointing shot of the day? Vol.3

Marlton, NJ

That must have been fun to watch jim.

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

That's a pretty country road and it does look like it was spectacular to witness.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

I am so glad that there is another person that actually chases birds besides me!! lol

Bigjim, you have my empathy!

PERTH, Australia

See the Osprey? No? No, that's because it flew off before I could quickly change from wide angle to telephoto lens. Would have been the shot of the century! But I did get something extra. Dirt on the lens.

LOL!!!! Pretty beach tho. :)

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow, I'm aching to go to that beach! Why is it always the shots of the century that we miss? Have you noticed this?

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

I'm with you E!

I'd be happy with that picture even with no Osprey. In fact, I'd be happy to bee on that beach even without a camera!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I tried getting a shot of a downy woodpecker but a stupid squirrel chased him away. I waited and waited but he never came back (while I was watching, at least)

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Wish I could have gotten this Great Blue Heron right...

Trying to capture a moving bald eagle as it flies overhead, while your camera is on a tripod, is sure to provide a lot of results like this photo, taken yesterday. At least I did get a couple of photos as he was coming toward me.

Well, Linth those two tails are very cool! You amaze me with your ability to get birds with their prey.

Nanny, hilarious! That photo of the great blue is so almost FANTASTIC. He looks like he's doing a jig, or maybe he's saying "Cold! Cold! Water's too cold!"

Don't you think this photo should have turned out better. OK, the sun was behind him instead of me, but still.

Looks like a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
