hurts mine too
:)
What's your most disappointing shot of the day? Vol.3
Rose, it's actually nice to see that not all your photos are stunners! Gives the rest of us hope!
Nanny, darn! The one with those pretty fall leaves would have been such a stunner!
That's a good one!
Elphaba...thank you but most of the pics I take are pretty bad...I just don't show them!! LOL!
Nanny... I know the feeling...sigh...
Pelle...Good one!
Gee pelle, you did just whack it off didn't you!!
nanny, rest easy, your shots are protected by copyright. LOL
Thanks Margaret!! lol
Oh! He's so cute. I don't think I'd know the difference if a different wren came to visit. I assume all of mine are Carolinas!
Margaret, great legs on vol. 2!
But you captured the wated coming off it's feet... That is way cool!!

Oh, yes, that's exactly what I was trying to do, nanny. (I'm also a liar)
LOL!!!!
Landed right in front of me, in the sun, with the sun at my back and yet, the picture is a total wash out! It wouldn't have been pretty anyway because of the diseased clematis, but you'd think the bird would look good. Darn it. I think it was a Kinglet. This pic doesn't even pass Nanny's "you can tell what it is" criteria!
That's much better actually. Camera speed eh? So it's not MY fault at all! LOL!
See, you can tell what it is!! lol
It's a bird!
Yep - Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Resin
Your second one looks like some a Pewee or Phoebe Elphaba
Second is an Eastern Phoebe. First is a UFO*. Actually, it might well be another Eastern Phoebe.
* Unidentified Feathered Object
Resin
LOL! UFO! I have a LOT of those! Shoot! That's my first Eastern Phoebe and all I have is that lousy photo!
He's so beautiful! Those colors are just amazing.
very pretty Margaret
I see it Hel. Boy, you lucky thing having Regent Bowerbirds. Spectacular colour even if the focus isn't spot on.
That is, in fact, a very cool shot Nanny! No wings, no feet -- amazing!
Man, that would have been a great shot...
