Great pics everyone!

PERTH, Australia

Wonderful birds, everyone.

Red Wattlebird from this afternoon. It was in a nearby bushy shrubby thing, half-heartedly growling at me. It was soooo hot.

Great pictures, everyone! I love the Painted Bunting, Pom. I've only seen a Painted Bunting one time and that was two years ago!
No, Margaret, I would not want to swap temps with you. I love this time of year! Cool and crisp...just right for birding. It's in the 40's here this morning

Linthicum -

Where were you when you took the eagle pics?

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

This mockingbird just cracked me up! He was eating the peppers off of my Black Pearl. I saw him eat three of them and then he went straight to the pond. He drank, and drank, and drank. Chased the other birds away from the pond b/c he needed ALL the water. Finally, a White-winged dove chased him off and he went to my other little pond which isn't really bird friendly. This is him on the urn in the pond trying to figure out how to get down there and get some more water! LOL! Hope he's OK.

Carol, these photos were taken on Saturday at the Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River. If you have any additional questions regarding the location, please D-mail me.

Fox Island, WA(Zone 8b)

Elphaba that is too freaking funny! I have never ever seen any bird eat peppers. Or any other critter, for that matter. They are the only thing I have ever grown that critters stay away from! I guess he learned his lesson....

Marlton, NJ

That is funny Elphaba!

Here are 2 pics of House Finch in action.
