The dead birch that the pileated liked to visit fell over on its own last month--I hope that it doesn't mean that it will now stay in the woods.

What a treat Rose for you rose on the pileated! I sure would like to get some redpolls here.

Have to look thru the pics for something besides a Yellow-rumped Warbler!! lol

A Hawk came by early this morning, I think looking for a Bunting for breakfast....

Must not have been terribly hungry.

The Buntings are pretty well protected, unless they panic and fly into the open. This one left empty-taloned.

The amount of birds seen here increase every day. Here is a huge flock of some kind of birds passing over.

A little closer in case someone wants to guess....I would guess pigeons.

My guess here is a Palm Warbler.

Every time the male Painted eats at the feeder, he hides in the back.

Everyone is really busy. Having a difficult time looking at all of the great photos.

I saw a few Bald Eagles on Saturday but was disappointed overall. The numbers should be picking up in a few weeks.
Here is probably the best photo that I was able to take ..... an immature Bald Eagle, in-flight.

Day before yesterday I spotted this ??? with a small group of Mallards. ( A young drake or a crossbreed?)

My hawk looks to me like a Coopers.

New one for me from Monroe Reservoir in Indiana. IDed by Resin as a Palm warbler.
