Well, Volume 145 has reached it's capacity, and it’s time to tie a knot in that thread and start this new one. This Daily Pics series has been consistently top notch. I hope we can keep those great pictures and interesting comments coming.
We came from here http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/912885/
I'll start with one of my favorite back yard birds, a song sparrow, in flight.

Daily Pics - Vol. 146
Love your pictures 2d, especially that one of the Titmouse. Great pictures.
Wonderful pics Dave! Thanks for starting the new thread! Nice catch on the song sparrow.
Rose,Love the juvie Sapsucker! Great pics.
I enjoyed all of them - especially the sapsucker and swamp sparrow. I've never heard of one before.
As always, Dave and Rose, fantastic birds, well captured.
GP, the Painted Bunting is spectacular. Lucky you.
White-winged and Mourning Dove
Looks like they've got a bit of mutual revulsion there, each saying "Keep away from me" to the other :-)
Resin
Thanks Pelle, OP and Margaret!
LOL Resin!
Great shots GP...I sure hope I get to see a Painted Bunting someday...they are so beautiful!
Thanks, Margaret....I'm always happy to see the Painted Buntings return.
very nice everyone... love them all
Wonderful start Dave, Titmouse is so sweet. Thanks
Congratulation on your Swamp Sparrow Rose,
Gp, if there's a bird I associate you with, it would be the Painted Bunting, such colorful birds. Thanks for sharing those pics with us.
Got a pic of a female Hairy Woodpecker today, hadn't seen it for a long time, Glad to see them coming again.
Great bird to be associated with, burn...thanks. I am very lucky to have them spend winters with me.
Hi all, I'm back after a couple of days in Indiana, about an hour south of Nanny. I successfully stalked her and her birds and she gave me a tour of her warbler heaven. She also let me use her bathroom! Thanks for the hospitality nanny.
I did not get too many good shots while on vaca. I'm sorry to say that. I had really hoped to come away with several new life list birds. I DID stop at a nature center and caught some waxwing action. Here are some enjoying a drink with some finches.
2d - love that titmouse! And I am so jealous of everyone's bluebirds. Grrr. What I would give to see a painted bunting... sigh.
elphaba - you stole my inca's! I haven't seen them in a while, I see they found you! By the way, do live on the corner of Durham and 22nd? I was driving through the Heights area yesterday and passed this cute house with gorgeous landscaping - all kinds of cool tropical plants that I have been lusting over. I thought of you, since I know you are in the Heights area.
Anyhow, here is a chickadee that has been hanging out for a few weeks. The first time I have seen one here! I just love them. So much attitude for such a small package!
LOL! No, that's not me. I'll have to drive by and check out that garden though! I'm in a tiny house in Oak Forest just north of the Heights. I just got a new roof and gutters, so my plants have been trampled! Truth be told, it still looks totally overgrown!
I went on a pond tour a few years ago where I got to see some of the gardens in the Heights. That was so much fun. I loved seeing the gardens and the ponds!
