Fall Photos.....let's share. Part 2

I found this little fuzzy yellow caterpillar there. Don't know what kind it is.

Caterpillar on the mums.....(is that like shrimp on the barbie?)

And last but not least, baby pumpkins.

I'm working on a pumpkin carving contest, so one of my pumpkins is done way early. I'm not completely happy with it, but here it is.

Oh, that's cool, zhinu! I love carved pumpkins. I did one a few years back, but usually I don't do it. Not much time.

Thanks, it was a lot of work, but not quite right. I decided I needed to something else for the contest so I'll start on a new one in the next couple days. I'll keep you posted.

I love all those mums photos! One of these years, I hope to have just ONE mum bed that will look glorious in the fall. The mums on the bottom tier of the back hill garden are just beginning to burst their buds. And, it's just one plant.

OMG I scared the crap out of myself!!! I expanded the picture to full view and it looks like there is a giant tidal wave happening in the south. Duh! Its clouds!!! LOL Back to fall and fuzzy catapillers in the NE....

I love the lace-y look of the branches against the sky.

I took it in Castleton in 2004. You can't see it, but Peveril Castle is above the trees, and the Devil's Arse Cavern and Cave Dale are very close. It's beautiful area.

Here are some recent fall pics. This was a sugar maple at a church in Pembroke, MA. It's one of my favorite maples, and I've photographed this one in the last 3 falls in a row.
