The other thread was getting too big. I thought it would be best to begin a new one. Please post any fall photos you want to share. Here is my first.

Karen

Here's the farm stand at the Bunten Farmhouse Kitchen in Orford, NH. The people here were really nice.

And one more at Lake Katherine, of which I posted a cropped, zoomed in version of this on the previous thread. That cropped picture was my most favorite from the whole trip, and I'm currently using it as a desktop background.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

pretty pics!.... looks like a fun day at the farm stand

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Karen, great pics, I like the wide view better than the cropped - gorgeous!

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I agree with you Karen - the cropped one is my favorite. The view from the covered bridge needs to painted as well!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Beautiful shots, Karen.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Great pictures..I love the one from inside the covered bridge.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Too bad the day was not a bit brighter/sunnier for those lake shots. The colors would have popped even more.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Great shots! The view coming out of the covered bridge is my fav.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Exquisite!!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, everyone! I really enjoy taking pictures.

Actually, Victor, I think the colors are more saturated and even more intense when the sky is overcast. But then you don't get blue sky with your pics.

Oh, it certainly can be. That's what I said yesterday when I posted another shot of my crape. But it's affected by how bright the overcast is and how bright or muted the colors are.

(Zone 4a)

Great shots nutsfordaylily!!! Such beautiful colours!

New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

Nice fall pics everyone. Here are a few of mine from a day in Vermont.

This one is called Sleepy Hollow Farm - I was told that someone from Aerosmith lives here (sorry, don't recall the name).

I thought this picture of the tree tops came out cool - it almost looks like a watercolor painting.

one more. . .

Wow! Gorgeous, Christina. Were you afraid at all?

New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

I was a little nervous before we took off and again just before landing, but the rest was very peaceful and beautiful. The wind picked up before we landed so it was a bit rough. The basket tipped over and we were dragged across the field on our sides...but no one was hurt and it was kind of fun in retrospect :o)

It was definitely worth it! The only thing that marred the experience was the phone call I got from the police department while we were up in the air....our Ford F150 spontaneously ignited in our driveway while we were away...if anyone owns one, I'd recommend you take the cruise control risk of fire recall seriously!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING.... that's terrible.... I was just about to tell you that photo of the tree tops is breath taking....

no no I was wrong... the truck did that along with the jaw drop

I am sooooo sorry to hear about your truck.... thank god you weren't driving in it

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - how terrible. Lucky no one was hurt. That is really scary and the timing of the call must have been unnerving.

New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

Yah, I'm bummed. It was basically my landscaping truck! I'm going to have to find another way to buy all my plants next year!! LOL.

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thank you, DawnLL!

OMG, Christina, that Sleepy Hollow Farm is gorgeous! Love it! And hot air balloons are some of my favorite subjects. I love the shot of the trees and then the one below it. How fantastic is that! How horrible about your car, though! I had a great trip myself, but it wasn't without it's downsides. My Dad lost his wedding ring down the drain, and then he got sick with the runs and sour stomach all day on the last day. How awful for both of us. Maybe less so, as he has some dementia and it prevents him from really dwelling on things. But other than those things and a few other minor things, we did have a great time and I was happy with all the photos I got.
