I live in Northern Virginia, zone 7, and planted a limelight hdrangea this year - in early June. It's done quite well and bloomed as expected. However in the last two weeks it has started to die - or die back. It's planted in full sun/partial shade and there are no bugs/pests which are evident. Isn't it too soon for this to go into dormancy for the winter? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Oscar

It very well could be time for it to go dormant for you. Mine started doing it a few weeks ago.
