Oooh, White-throated Sparrow. Cool. I had to go by sound because I could never get a good look at them, so I need to look them up so I know how to tell the difference next time. That or it has been these guys hanging around all the time and I've just been wrong :o

burn_2007 - awesome shot of the peeping tom. gave me a good chuckle.

Your Hawk is becoming a regular visitor, Pelle. I was out for a while, but it started raining. Here is an Osprey high in the sky.

Wow! I can't believe y'all have posted so many great shots already!
GP, I don't know how you get those in flight shots! Good one!
Cool sparrow Evie!
Love those birds of prey! Wow!
Nanny, good one of the NW.

Resin, you asked if there were more pics of the little one on the stalk. This is it in the tree after its bath. I thought it was another Nashville even though its doesn't seem to have as much yellow.

Grackle collage. Thanks, but I wish I could get them (Osprey) to come closer.

Oh I was so shocled and happy that the Northern Flicker came into the apple tree that I'm only about 12 feet from. The only problem was he was so deep into the other side that this was the only shot I could manage of him.

BTW, I had to chase away that hawk another 2 times before starting to take photos.

Here's a male House Finch.

And look who came to visit! A Yellow-rumped Warbler!

He had absolutely no fear of me as he drank for a long time from the bird bath just 5 feet from me.

He's so adorable!

Thanks! Yep, Nashville. In the previous pic it was hiding its yellow throat and trying its best to pretend to be a Connecticut Warbler.

Wonderful pictures. Love the birds of preys, and the many different Warblers.

Rose nice to see you in circulation again. Missed you.

Thanks guys, the peeping tom was pretty hilarious. He tried to walk along the window frame and then just decided to peek in. He'd walk away and come back and peek in some more. Wished I would of thought of using the movie setting.

Adel , I think they are my favorite of your birds. I just want to hug one!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

Welcome back Rose, nice shot of the WC Sparrow!

knip, beautiful pics of the brids of prey!

pelle, great pics of the little Warbler, sweet bird! Nice to have the Hawk about, not nice too!

I like the colour of the Grackle gardenpom, a real sharp bird!

burn, funny Blue Jay, it must have seen something it wanted, lol.

nanny, wow, that's a lot of Warblers!

Mrs_Ed, the female House Sparrows are cute!

adel, I like those Quails too, they look unreal!

I'm mad because I had the perfect opportunity to get close pics of the Nuthatch, got one of it's back when it turned up. It knows how to make a quick getaway with a nut now! I had altered the settings to take a pic of an Anemone dangling in front of me in the shadows, it turned up just after, I had only changed half the settings but was still on 'P' so with a high EV I took 3 lovely well over-exposed pics!

The Coal Tit keeps coming back, sun went.

Straypuss came to scold me for not feeding him once again, while I was squatted waiting for the Nuthatch to return and getting eaten by gnats, with the guilty Anemone behind.

Oh what a wonderful cat! Great expression :)

I love robins - I saw this one at the bird of prey centre going in and out of the enclosure with the guinea pigs in (stealing their food perhaps?)
