Got some lumber as Kel finally decided TODAY will be the day he'll start on closing up the deck and turn it into a sunroom/gh. Well as long as I see studs going up, I know he'd push to finish it before it gets cold.
Bon, secret to a good dark colour to your gravies, is, do as the French and Cajuns do... make a roux first. Brown your flour and fats separately in a skillet. Don't burn your roux over high heat, so the flour will be cooked. When it turns the colour of a dark chocolate or copper penny, if you don't want it too dark, then stop.
Then add this to your drippings, seasonings and l'il stock.
How apt. Joystick Sink!! Think I'll add some kind of round or scalloped garnet colored art pieces around the nmirror, and maybe it will soften that sink. Or worse, encase it in a frilly basinet (lolol). I don't think he has spartan or minimalist in mind, could be "lay off women".. :D

Kim, echoing Debra here, please be careful... don't want anything to happen to a flamingo nut from up north.
Marion is right, for a simple quilt, don't need any patterns. Just decide what size, then divide by the squares you want, and instead of 1/4 inch seams added to the squares before cutting, be generous with the seam allowances to give more fraying. Hi Marion :D

Yea, I found him... he was under the house trying to get the old air conditioner slab out and moved to the side of the house (afraid I'd try to plant something there if it wasn't taking up the space)... so I helped him get that in place and leveled.

my experience says if he is accusing you of an affair then he is guilty and trying to make you out to be the bad guy so he can feel better about his self.
My X accused me and he was the one lying about going to work early when all the while he was going over to who I thought was one of my best friends after her Dh had left for work.
my present Dh and I have been on rocky roads too but will not go in to that story as ti is long but will say I got the point across and things are much better now and since we are no longer near by the person there is no worries he learned his lesson.

I agree with Jaye once the trust is gone it is very very hard to go on ...it takes alot of work on both parties to try and build it back but it has to e something BOTH want not just one.
