Wallaby1.......... Frank Frog's friend is a Gray Fox who comes in every night to eat bird seed and anything else it can find. Here is a Sparrow dining with Frank.

Lucky you nanny!

Ah adel, it was the colour which threw me. Funny to think of a Sparrow having a yellow crown!

Our extremely cold weather has brought in a new bird I have not seen, a Nuthatch! Such dark grey skies, but they turned out as well as could hope from the window! It came back several times.

This site shows most of Lincolnshire as grey, that little bit half way up on the right! Meaning they are not really here, but other sites show it as being all over England and Wales up to Scotland.

A Coal Tit came to the nut silo too, first time I've seen one do that, only the 3rd or 4th I've seen one at all this year!

Here it is waiting on the top, with Blue Tit flying in and Great Tit with beak open!

Mr Great Tit scampered to the top, his female friend was there and it looks like he fed her! Blue Tit said he wanted some too!

Yayyyyyyyy Nanny, Cedar Waxwing!!!, and I'm so glad to see them in that bush. I didn't know, if they ate those berries, but your pic has answered my question. I planted 2 this spring, that I started from seeds, in my wild garden.

Wallaby, thanks for the adorable Blue Tit .:) 2 different Tits for the price of one, that's pretty good.

I was finally able to lure a Blue Jay to my yard, and got a few bad photos, but one was nice enough to post.

Very nice pics everyone!

Love that frog adel!

Good job getting the Blue Jay burn!

Here's a male Red-bellied Woodpecker at the peanut silo.

That great tit's head coloring reminds me of a chickadee

The sun came out better a short while later and the Red-tailed Hawks came in.

Here is one.

I didn't check this thread at all yesterday b/c I was putting up the Halloween decorations all day (I'm a bit nuts about Halloween). I had to do it yesterday b/c the weather supposed to be getting hot again, but I was soaked with sweat and dizzy by the time I was done, so I'm envious of Gary and Wallaby.

Wallaby, I feel for you and your greenhouse. I just replaced a window in my garden shed and now two of the panes in the door are broken, but mine are from birds flying into the windows from the outside not the inside! Poor dear.

Really fabulous shots everybody. Burn, I too recognize that berry that the Cedar Waxwing was eating! I have some growing wild in the yard. I'm going to be nicer to it from now on!

I had the sprinkler on this morning and couldn't believe the birds who needed a shower starting with this Cardinal

Pelle, I love those hawk shots. I saw a hawk this afternoon flying low in circles like it was hunting, but it was screeching. I'm not sure how he expected to kill anything with a warning like that? I thought maybe he had a companion he was talking to, but didn't see one.

Three White-winged Doves, a Brown Thrasher and a Norwegian Troll bathing under the sprinkler.

Nice pics Elphaba! I have to get one of those bushes.

Pell, it's nice to see Red-tailed Hawks with red tails. We have the dark colored Harlan's morph.

Quoting:
...., but it was screeching. I'm not sure how he expected to kill anything with a warning like that?

It was trying to locate pray by frightening it, into running, and spot the movement. It is easier to spot movement than pray hiding in the grass.

Look at the wet bird tracks on the rock.

After what happened last time, I'm not going to try to comment on everyone's pics, other than that they are all beautiful. Well done, Pelle to get two hawks in the shot.

I think the Jay has met his match in Squire the Squirrel adel, lol

Congrats burn! The chickadee always reminds me of our Great Tit or Coal Tit in colour.

Nice shot of the RB Woody pelle, why do they always look like statues, lol. Great job on getting the RT Hawks together!

Elphaba, it is kinda sickening when you see yet another broken pane isn't it! Nice shot of the Mockingbird eating a berry! When I'm huddled in multiple pairs of sox, jumpers and jackets the thought of showering under a sprinkler is much more enticing. lol!

Good one of the Jay Grasmussen, it had it's eye on something!

Your coot has a beak full Margaret, nice shot!

The sun is shining, so I must drag these stiff muscles out to warm up!

Marlton, NJ

Nice shot of the coot Margaret!

Last pic. I was hoping for a pic of the Hummingbird but it was a no-show. The Cardinal landed just several feet from me and allowed me some shots.

I see what you mean Pelle, it failed to upload the 2nd pic. Here it is.
