So I just figured out what kind of plant I have. {{thanks to those who helped me on here}} Now i have noticed that it has 2 babies growin on each side and I dont know how to replant them. I just want to make sure I'm not killing them. There are quite a few people around here that are very interested in the plant and would like one. I've tried researching the plant but everyone has there own opinion I would just like to make sure I'm doing it correctly
Thanks
budding Aechmea Fasciata
I have many broms in my yard that I am constantly cutting babies off of. I use a large serrated knife and cut as close to the mother plant as possible. There most likely wont be any roots on the baby yet. Plant it in well draining soil and don't keep it too wet or it will rot. Keep its "cup" filled with water. Dawn
