We have shagbark hickory trees and the squirrels love those. We have a bunch of oaks too. I am still feeling pee-can deprived.

Good Morning All,
I'm bummed that I missed all the chatty-chat this morning. You all get up way to early!

Today's a big day at our house. We have an excavator coming to break ground for our remodel! I'm so excited! We refinanced a year and a half ago to do this and the money has just been sitting there. Can't wait for my new bedroom, bathroom, den, etc.... can't get ahead of myself too much, though, we're doing all the work - except a couple of things like the excavation! So it'll be this time next year, at least, before I have it all done probably.

Captain Jordan, you are a saint!

Lazy Ladies, you need to visit the titles thread and give me your title to be added.

Lodi, United States

I thought she wouldn't get any until she reformed her pronunciation? She is going to contaminate the Great Midwest with her erroneous Canadian ways.

Oxford, NS(Zone 5b)

I already have. :-)

First things first!! She needs indoor plumbing...

(I thought I'd larn'd her with the tucahn and pecahn thing, but she's still tou-canning and pee-canning -jeesh) Hard vowels are permissable, just not long ones.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

hahaha - my mama's mama was from Alabama, so I know all about pronunciation of pecahn.

I've responded to the title thread... call me what you want. I think Harmony referred to me as something, but I can't remember what.

Hi All!

Whew! It's been abit stessful around here so it's been tough getting online.

I brought in a picture of frans eggs(thanks again for that!). The teacher apologized in front of the class to Owen and should the picture to everyone. The kids loved it! I can't wait for mine to start laying so I can bring in some eggs.

Well, THAT is good news! I'm so glad the kids were set straight.. Your dear Nephew probably felt really good too.
I'm sorry all the other stuff is on you though.. I know all too well how when it rains it pours!

So sorry to hear of your woes i hope everybody is all better soon.

Ha ha about the teacher i had a teacher turn on me once my son was terrified of this one teacher well she wasn't his home room teacher thank god but he had to go to her for reading.
Well when i went to his conference his home room teacher refered to me about how he was scared of his reading teacher She said "he's afraid of her so when he miss behaves i tell him i'm going to send him to her room" My DH was right there with me.
So a little after that my son brought home a note saying he wasn't reading out loud in class and i wrote back he was to afraid too and just leave him alone.
Well this started a war and i finally told her hes was terrified of her and what his home room teacher told me she said i'm going to ask her.
Well next day i recieved a note from the reading teacher said i had lied and the other teacher had no recollection of telling me such a story.
I called his home room teacher and she denied it all and said she didn't recall saying that and i must be mistaken i didn't argue with her but i was really fumeing and when i told my DH he was too.
I tried to have him moved to another class but it was late in the year and it would be to much of and adjustment leaveing his friends.
We never had anymore problems about this and he didn't have to read out loud anymore and a couple months later after school was out i saw miss grumpy teacher and acted like i didn't even know her.
