Its going :) trying to get the DH ready to go to Georgia next week. Going a lot of work outside to get ready for winter and such. He will be gone until the middle of December and then probably off to another job until March or April.
Gotta get the birds winterized also but have to wait on the funds for that.
yeah, i gotta put a heat lamp in the bantam coop today. gonna get to 45 tonite, and they are not completely feathered out yet
that is one thing with these birds they are all feathered out so no worries there, just no southern protection right now.
all my chickens are protected excpt wally and jezzebell. they have never been locked up, and insist on staying out side. i fixed a big barrell with hay in it for them. i hope they use it
