LOL, Nice ones Iris!
awww. that itch is cute!
Really great job on the pics Iris!
Thanks pelletory!
oh Iris, that's a beautiful series. I tried to pull up some of the camera exif data to get some pointers, but there was nothing there. Well done.
Your shots are all awesome, IRIS.
Mrs_Ed, gardenpom, Thanks!!
Mrs_Ed, I put the photo's in my Paintshop Pro program so that I can crop/resize them and everytime I do, I lose the exif data, And I don't know why, But, If I don't resize the photo's through PSP they would be huge as I leave them large sized on the camera in case I actually get a photo that I'd like blown up poster size sometime.
Sorry you couldn't get the exif data, But, What I can do, Is read it off the camera from the other pictures that I didn't post that were taken and done the same way at the same time .... Be right back!
oh thanks.

There you go... I also had a Kenco Extension tube on size 36 ...Hope I helped with what you were wanting to know
Your Very Welcome!
Yes it is what I wanted to know. I loved the effect on them and wondered what mode for one you were shooting in. I figured it was a low ISO because it was so crisp. I'm surprised that the shutter is that slow. I think I'm going to have to start shooting in this aperture mode.
Now, what is this tube?
They are called Kenco Extention Tubes , They come in different sizes and they are used for close-ups as more a less a cheaper alternative for a true macro lens.
I bounce back and forth between manual and aperature all the time , But, Pretty much get the same results with both though sometimes aperature seems a little crisper.
I was only about 3-4 ft. max away from the hummingbird's when shooting those photos
holy cow. well THAT helps. Mine don't generally let me get near them.
well, wonderful anyway!
Yes it does! lol! I have a small patio out back with one of those standup canopy covers over it and the feeder hangs on the canopy frame, So lately, When I sit under there, The hummers come in a feed only a few feet away. Most times they are a good 40-50 ft or more away, But, Today, They hung around by the patio, I don't know if it mainly because it was raining or what it was, But, I grapped the oppertunity and shoved the extention tube on and got the photos.
Good job. my word, they are gorgeous. I think I'll just have to savor the memories and NOT my photos, lol.
Thankyou Mr._Ed! But, Don;t say "Not" your photos, I enjoy seeing your photos! Some people just get better oppertunitys at shots sometimes then other people do but thats not to say that your shots aren't good, I really do enjoy seeing them when you post them!! If you want to see some photos that will put mine to shame, Check out PBase, If you go there, Check out the second catorgory at the bottom ( 1-10 of 920) .. Nice photos!! Here's the link for you ...
