We have had bags of fertilizer, potting soil, hoses, bird feeders. The items vary but just keep them cheap on the wallet. If you don't want to buy something look around for a plant in a nice pot you don't want.
North Central Texas Roundup Attendance & Food.
door prizes are so much fun!! especially when everyone gets one!!
Can you set up my table beside TexasLizzy's? I have her plants to trade.
Thanks,Anna
We usually do it alphabetically, but we will see what we can do, I suppose in a case like this we could make an exception.
Have you heard from Liz? Is she feeling better?
Josephine - I am coming - posted above - bringing KFC Chicken - not on list above - and I surely need a trade spot
Thanks
Kittylover

Sorry Esther, I added you to the list, it is hard to keep up.
You are doing a great job Josephine! It looks like we will have a very large group; with lots of new faces too!! This is great for a fall RU, and your spring one will be super at this rate!!!
See everyone tomorrow!!!
Charlene...Do you have someone to get your trades for you?
Thank you Sheila.
I was wondering about Charlene too, we will see if she responds, she may be too busy.
Myself and my wife still plan to be there.
We will likely bring a side dish. (probably cole slaw)
this thread needs linking from the the 'general' RU thread.
Carl
O.K. guys, we are getting very close.
The post at he top of this thread has the link to the park location and directions on how to get there.
If you need more instructions please let me know.
We start at 12 noon to give people coming from out of town a chance to get there on time.
Please check what food or supplies you are supposed to bring and consider the # of people, about 50.
Print your plant trade list and label each plant on your already traded list with the name of the plant and the person you are giving it to, in order to avoid confusion later. Keep those plants separate, you will have a place for those, under the table in your designated space with your name on it,
Label your not traded plants with plant names, so that if you trade them or give them away, people won't have to guess what they are, place those plants on top of the table.
Keep handy the list of plants you are supposed to receive and from whom, so you don't forget to collect the plants that have been promised to you.
As you arrive pull your car close to the pavilion entrance, come to the sign in table, put your name and the names of your guests on the list, get your name tag, and pay your share of the rental fee.
I estimate $4.00 per member will cover it, guests do no pay.
Volunteer helpers will help you take your plants to your place and your food and door prizes to the appropriate tables. PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO BRING ONE ITEM FOR EACH PERSON IN YOUR PARTY.
After you unload please move your car to a parking space so as to let other members do the same operation.
This will allow us to operate smoothly and avoid confusion.
