Am pondering the arrival date .. since it's a holiday weekend comin up .. I may not see the fellas til after Oct. 13 .. jeez .. they're gonna miss Thanskgiving turkey dinner !!!

I've been trying to track them with the tracking # I have, and it doesn't look like they've moved, but the website probably doesn't get updated too often. I selected to receive an email upon delivery. I'll keep checking to see where they are, on their journey to Ontario.

Well, as of 1pm this afternoon, the boys were in Winnipeg @ the Post Office.....
who knows - maybe they Will arrive tomorrow, at Marilynne's!!!
After all, if they catch an afternoon or early evening flight out of Winnipeg..........then to Toronto, eh? Well, we'll see :-)
Well Tallulah .. we're on the look out for the boys :-) Since I am a 'forest dweller' the package will have to go from Winnipeg to Thunder Bay .. be sorted and come back out my way .. in essence .. they be goin east, then coming back west .. poor guys !!
Would love to have them sitting at the table for our Thanksgiving dinner :-)

Just an update .. as if you hadn't already guessed .. the boys didn't make it to my house for Thanksgiving .. so .. I am hoping that tomorrow I will receive notification that the package has arrived, and I'll bop up to the post office to collect it :-)
The anticipation is making me NUTS !!!

Yeah - I checked the post office for the tracking # & it still shows as being in Winnipeg - not that it's a big surprise. They don't update their website too often.
LOL After it got to Winnipeg, THEN it showed as us bringing it to the post office in Calgary LOL
Boy - guess they aren't there yet!!
We took them to the post office on the 7th....... wonder what's taking so long? Well, delivery date is set as the 15th, so guess they'll arrive tomorrow.

Nope .. 'Gnomes no show' .. so far ..
Hopefully tomorrow, but, since Wednesday is my 'CRAZY BUSY DAY' .. if the 'come get me card' arrives .. I may not be able to fetch'em til Thursday .. but fetch'em I shall :-)
May have to stoke up the woodstove to thaw them out !!!

I'm not surprised at the delay. I mailed a handbell back to the factory in Pennsylvania on Sept. 2 and it didn't even leave Canada until the 5th. I live an hour from the border.
I DO look forward to more activities when they arrive.
