I have some Canas that I was told would not live here.... well there on there 6th year. But over that time they have stoped flowering do to new shade from a growing tre. So I want to transplant the tubers, when is the best time?
Thanks
Tim
When do I transplant mu Canas?
Tim - Canas are wonderful right? just stunning plants that cannot stop flowering when they love a place. You can move them 6 weeks before the first night in the 30s to give them time for new roots. i just did mine not but a few weeks ago.
Cool thanks,
Tim
Wow,
Cannas that survive the winter in zone 7a? I always dig up mine at Thanksgiving here in No. VA and store them in the garage in paper sacks and replant them again in April....
Sure Canas almost all can make it with some TLC.
