We're having something eating our Hibiscus, but haven't found a pest until today. Not ravishing the foliage, but just kind of picking and chosing.
We found this guy on one of them today. Somewhat ladybug like in shape and size, but with different markings.
If that's an 8 on its back I'm going to set up a shrine for Dale Earnhart.
Pest ID on Tropical Hibiscus
somebody (i think) posted a picture of this guy for id. i'll see if i can find it.
well, couldn't find the exact one. from what little i know, (very little), i would say it's a nymph of a true bug and maybe something in the fire bug family but i hope someone comes along and sets me straight. it's cool looking, whatever it is!
