I usually use the MDOSPREY site for birding in my area. Daily posts are made of bird sightings. For example, a post was made this week that Black-crowned Night Herons had been seen at a certain location. The next day I went by that site and I saw two of them. It was late in the day so lighting was becoming an issue. When a post is made one has to move quickly if they want to see the bird.

awww! Maybe they are on their way. I wonder how many redpolls you will get this year. Probably not as many as last year from what I gather.
I have that link too but the listserv also comes with photos people submit and other things. I like the way the website and the listserv make for quite complete coverage of each state.
