Ruby-throated Hummingbirds Vol. 13

It's in the ground..it may bounce back in a day or two.

DH took this last year. We have not had very many around this year like in the past. We still have a few but have not had a chance fo pictures this year.

I have 3 new Hummingbirds here today but it's very overcast and so far I haven't been able to get many good shots. Here's 1 of them.

I'm running out of blooms here, we had a chilly night last night.

Fuschia, a few blooms left

My little guy is still here but he's quite a little butterball so he may be leaving sometime today.

Now another one has shown up, I expect he'll be here a few days.

This one perched on the little tree I made for it. I have been saving broken limbs and propping them in places beside attaching to the hooks, and they just love them!

Again not a great pic but shows one sitting in our little birch tree in the front yard. It has been very popular to with the juvies.

This one was coming out of the Ash tree in the back yard!

Today's little lady. She chased someone else off, but I don;t know if it was a boy or girl.

When I was out in the garden today taking a pictures, a hummingbird flew right up to me about 3 feet away and just faced me. I didn't even try to take a picture, but it was really neat.

Thanks Pelle. This was one of the first times I think I've seen such a big white mark on the tail.

Enjoyed the photo's! I seen one like I've never seen before, It was white on the front of it's head by the beak, Unfortunately, I had the wrong lens on my camera to get a photo of it, But, If I get to see it again I'll make sure to go and put the right lens on! Had three hummers today, But just don't have the time to upload photos, At least I can enjoy the photos here as I pass through!

Three days since the last post on this thread. Are ya'll running out of hummers? I can tell they are moving because there are different ones on my perches each day. This was one from today.

I have not seen this young one before.

They will not tolerate each other for long.
