is an artichoke a plant or animal part and how do they tast
artichoke
It's a plant. I'm not a huge fan of them except in spinach & artichoke dip but I can't really describe the taste very well...they taste like artichoke! LOL
They make a great ornamental plant. I think it takes a couple of years for them to get nice and big but if you just let it grow, they produce this pretty purple bushy flower thingy. Very technical huh? Hard to describe a taste.
thankyou
Artichokes are rather mild in taste. They are a perennial vegetable. Buy one at the grocery and prepare it into a guacamole dip or buy a prepared guacamole dip at the grocery to see if you like it. All you have to have is a good recipe for the dip and I bet you'll like the taste!!!
