tomato cage 2
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds Vol. 12
If you don't have a branch to put close to the feeders; a tomato cage works great.
Nice pics ya'll!!
nanny, I think I had the 'little fancy'..And like your's, They just didn't seem to fancy it too much.
Mrs-Ed, Thanks for the photo of the feeder, For some reason I thought it was a big one when I seen the first photo of it.
Elphaba, I kinda thought that feeder would be heavy, But, I guess as long as it has a good support hanger it works out fine.
f_chisolm, They indeed do love hanging out on the tomatoe cages, I always knew where to look if they were not at the feeders as they were usually always hanging out on the tomatoe cages or the fencing surrounding the vegetable garden.
Really Super pics everyone!! I always enjoy looking through them!!
My pic for today ( Or I should say yesterday) ...
Lovely pic Iris!
Iris, That one has ten holes on such a little feeder.
I know that Rose has one of these in the big size. I like the wide mouth on them. Easy to clean!

I hope Rose gets back soon I've missed her.
Me too! :(
Nice catch nanny! I love seeing those open feet coming in.
I have a juvenile male around today but he was really afraid w/ me standing in the middle of the yard taking pics of the other birds.
pelletory, Thanks! Mrs-Ed, Thanks for the info and photo, I'll have to get one of those, It must be sight to see all those little jewels at one feeder as in that photo! nanny, Thats a cute one with it's feet outstreched. pelletory, It seems strange how sometimes they seem afraid and other times they dont.
I'm assuming their like people with different personalities.
Obviously I prefer the curious and friendly ones better for photographing.
Wonderful pics guys!
I'll start a new thread. Here's the link.
