Hi all! Time for a new thread, I look forward to seeing all the new hummingbird pictures, I'm sure they will be as good and as enjoyable to see and hear about as the last thread!! Good Luck and have fun with all the new captures!
Ruby-throated Hummingbirds Vol. 12
Very nice start Iris. Thank You!
Thanks, And "Your Welcome" pelletory!!
Love those stretching poses Dave!
Good job Mrs Ed! What type of salvia is the red one?
That's "texas sage." though I always called it "Lady Red." It has always been one of my favorites as we used to get it at a garden center where I worked 18 years ago! These were winter sown from seeds from a DG trade. I am saving LOTS of seeds if you want.

Beautiful shots, Marna. All four!
Aw, thanks dave. I'm really having some focusing issues with this new lens (mostly just on birds). I have to figure out if there is a way to force focus. So much for the 11 focus points!
Beautiful, artsy shots Iris -- love them!
Dave, WOW! Unbelievable -- I could stare at them for hours. OK, maybe not hours, but you get my drift.
Mrs. Ed, lovely! Your flowers are as pretty as your hummers.
All I have is one belly shot. It's not that great, but I'm so happy to have any hummer shot at all that I'm sharing anyway!
The hummer above me...
Elphaba, Thanks so much!
Everyone, Some really nice shots ( Mostly of hummers, But, Some nice plants too)! Dave , That hummer looks mad! Great shots!
Keepem coming all, Enjoy seeing them!
Pelle, that first one just cracked me up! The photo is great. It's his expression that is so funny! He looks like he should be on sesame street!
Nanny, what a great idea to lure the hummers to you! I have a feeder that I only use if we have a hard freeze, but now I'm thinking I should get it out!
Yes Elphaba I think he was completely spooked by the sound of the camera. :-)
Very nice burn!
No problem seeing any of them burn but maybe because I have those trained
"Hummer Eyes",lol.
I had a hard time to see them before I cropped them. LOL on Hummers eyes
