ID Help

Easley, SC

I got crazy and planted a bunch of seeds and used ink that was not waterproof and now I have several of these plants and don't know what they are. They seem to do well in shade, and since I was trying to get plants for a shady area, I am pretty sure that they are a shade loving plant. Thanks for your help.

I wish I could tell you, it's so familiar. Can you remember if it was flowers, it kind of reminds me of foxglove. I hate when i sow seeds and forget what it is. I had a mind.. before the kids buned my brian away.

It is a foxglove and it looks most like Digitalis x mertonensis, Strawberry Foxglove.

I had to think about it for hours, i knew the leaf looked familiar. I don't grow them I just see them around I find that in heavy weather (rain, wind) the flowers flop over and the fact that I have kids, dogs that everything goes in their mouths. Strawberry foxglove, I'll have to look that up.

Checked my list of seeds and that was among them. Thanks so much! Now to figure out where to transplant it. I get these plant catalogs that have these shade gardens planned out and I am trying to use them as somewhat a guide, so hopefully these will grow in a couple of shaded areas that I have.
