You look smashing, Darling! I'm serious! You look like a million bucks. I LOVE those shoes. I couldn't wear them but heck, YOU can. LOL
Those people don't know what they're talking about. The silly, silly people and you never have to deal with them again, I hope. You got what you deserved and that was Phyllis's friendship and love. Remind me, did you keep the dress?
Stop and visit, talk all you want. #25
Oh Terry you look awseome! Lucky girl can wear those heels, I'd be walking around twisting my ankles with every step!
Those are some seriously angry people. Where did they get all of that anger from?
From being stupid. And being just smart enough to know they're stupid, sounds like. Anger comes with that.
LOL! Thanks!! Would you believe Al, an 80 yr old man, told me I was hot?? And Mike (51), Mary's husband, said the same thing earlier to me? And Mike also asked me to please come to MO, begging me to come, to paint and decorate the interior of their house? And yes, Mary knows what he said...lol. nanner nanner...☺ If I said the women are all frumpy, is that being mean? Or that none of the men have a backbone? ☺☺☺
Celia and Crissy, I think the anger from them comes from knowing deep inside that I do know what I'm talking about. They can't deny the obvious. That I was the one always called upon by Phyllis, not them. That I was always there for their mom, their MIL, their grandma, their sister, their aunt. They knew Phyllis relied on me and they also know Phyl called me her "good daughter". They know I had no responsibility for/to their mom, MIL, grandma, sister and aunt, I did it out of love, with nothing expected in return. They know for me, she was never a burden. I stopped what I was doing always, for her. They know that she loved our yard and she always had an unobstructed view of it. That is was 'The Secret Garden' to her, her favorite book and movie. That the hardest thing I ever did and the only thing I ever regretted, was moving to TN, away from Phyl. That I came home after 17 months and we picked up exactly where we left off. That even though we lived in TN, I visited her more than they did and when I was physically in TN, we spent hours on the phone every week. That I did things when they wouldn't. That I spoke up for her when they would not. That she spoke of me to them and she spoke of me each and every time she spoke with them. That when she was in the nursing home or the hospital or at home, that she wanted me to do things for her, not them. If they ever spoke with hospice RN, the know that their mom wanted to go home, with me. And most important, is that she loved me. Their anger is from guilt and jealousy. I don't think they're smart, not at all. Might be book smart, but common sense? They have none. They also now fully understand that when they think they say something to deflate me, that it does the opposite. It inflates me. I've heard enough from them over the years, they all want me to decorate their homes, they all want to know the secret to choosing a paint color, carpet, draperies, furnishings, they all want my gardens. That is why I say they are jealous. I've also heard about my clothing, my car, my home. About me and person that I am. I've had grand-kids tell me they wish I was their mom. They saw at the visitation the majority of the grand-kids climbing into my lap for comfort. The youngest grandchild in my lap was 17 yrs. old. They saw the oldest grandson, who is 32, sobbing into my shoulder. The women and the men all know I am 100% woman. I had a guy friend way back when, tell me I was not someone who walked with a chip on her shoulder nor am I conceited. Rather I was a woman who walked with confidence, head high, shoulders back and with the security and knowledge of who she is and what she wants. I am someone who doesn't judge and gives respect freely and easily to all that I know. That I am sincere in all that I say and do. All that came from my buddy, Jim. He was in a car accident back in '87 and was killed instantly along with his son, Jimmy. His daughter Amy eventually died also, his wife Diana, was severely injured when the top of the car collapsed on her head. Diana didn't make a full recovery, but she is re-married and they have adopted 2 children. In all this time, I can close my eyes and see Jim's face, those freckles of his. When I see a cement truck, I instantly look up to see if it's Jim. Gosh I miss him. I went to kindergarten with him and all thru school. Diana always resented that and also didn't much like that I drove Jim's Camero, back before they were even married. I didn't know she didn't know, until it was too late☺ Jim wasn't mad, but Diana sure was..lol. Jim was my dancing partner, every week-end. I talk to much☺
LOL Celia, is that anything like being so far behind they think they're ahead?? LOL
I think they are jealous but too stupid to do anything about it. Don't be happy that some loving, caring sole came into their mothers life, be angry and hateful that this loving, caring sole is so loving and caring. I'm sorry, that's flat out stupid. Sounds like someone I work with. I would LOVE to tell you what she said to me yesterday but I can't post it on here.
I wonder how long before the fireworks show. It shouldn't take too long, since I did point Mary in the direction of a good lawyer, when the lawyer Phyl and Stac used went out of business a long time ago..lol. I should be able to see it, even from here☺
So, how are you guys? What have you been up to? My mind is clear now. I can concentrate on something other than all of that stuff☺
He's a beauty, Crissy! Garden spider's are great, aren't they? I've been following a jumping spider around so much, I think he needed a vacation! LOL I can't find it now.
Terry, I've had the last 2 days off and I did a whole lot of nothing. ☺ I was going to do some yard clean-up but...a book was calling my name and I couldn't resist. I did get some bulbs in the ground. More irises.
We got a Halloween buddy for Isis.
I think the fireworks will be seen around the world!! LOL
I had a walking stick the other day on the house!! I've only seen them down in AR, never up here. I was shocked and happy to see him! Or her..lol. And that spider! I love those yellow and black beauties! What the heck is a wheel bug? I read it and I instantly thought of a roly poly, but those are around all the time, except if really cold. In Bull Shoals, AR anyway.
Celia, if I sit for too long reading the fine print of a book, I get a headache. I need new reading glasses, but our insurance only pays for lenses once a year and I need new regular lenses every year. And no, I can't do bifocals. That's like when I think about driving a 4 door car. I can't do it. My grandma always called them "old lady" cars and refused to buy one. Heck, grandpa never bought a 4 door either! And so goes my mind about bifocals...lol. I did get talked into them a few years ago by the eye doctor, and they made my head spin and upset my stomach something awful. So I took them back and got just regular see far glasses. And I love to read too. sigh
Well girls, it's getting past my bedtime, the Cubs have won, so now I can go to bed☺
Terry
We don't get walking sticks here. Which is too bad because they're very cool. We have a praying mantis egg sac in the front yard. I think all the babies are gone. We've seen a few around but I haven't gotten any pics.
I have to go back to work today. ☻
Good Day!
Celia, I love to read too. I love Romance novels, fiction and book series.
Started this one series from beginning to end took three years! Currently waiting for the next book which is due out in Novemeber I think. Mostly tho i read from Labor day on...LOL, thats how I watch sports with Steve. Hope work goes well after having quality Reading time...Great picture of Isis and buddy.
Terry, You looked Beautiful all dressed up. LOL, would have fell down standing still in those stunning red heals tho...
Yah!! Cubbies are doing awsom again! I have had bifocals for about three years now, still remember how unbeleivable ill I was when I first got them. I finally stopped wearing the glasses until i couldn't stand the headaches and eye aches, When i put them on again they were perfect! Weird.
Chrissy, Great shot of the pretty cool spider. We enjoy watching the spiders and crawly bugs too. Had a leaf bug on the screen house not long ago. Haven't seen one of those in ages. OH MY GOSH, that reminds me...Restacked my wood pile a couple of weeks ago,and as I was picking up bark, a Toad hopped about!! Yow, I couldn't beleive it, so I left some bark pieces for it...
Well. Ladies Hope you have a great day...Nice to see you posting again!
woohoo, almost lunch time!
I have to tell ya'll about my evening last night, hilarious!
I bought one of those hand held battery powered vaccuums w/ attachments the other day so I can vaccuum the storm shelter since I had to put flea and tick carpet powder to kill the ants in it, it's equiped with indoor/outdoor grey carpet. I take it and both attachments, one is for carpet and one is for cleaning corners and crevices. I'm down there vaccuuming the steps and I realize that most of the carpet cleaner is shooting out of the exhaust of the vaccuum, creating a cloud. I say Oh Well and kept going. It was about half done and the little filter was clogged, so I moved outside and took the nose off for the first time, then pulled the filter out, which was a little more difficult than I had anticipated. It came out with a fling and I had carpet powder all over me. I looked around as if, "Did anyone see me??" My next door neighbor, Diana, was watching the whole thing. She started cracking up and I just cleaned it and started again. By the time I was done I was feeling really good! I went back in the house and Dave was up, he said, "Why are you covered in powder?" I guess he thought it was baby powder, the look on his face was priceless!
YES YES YES!!! I just had a meeting with my boss and I was whinning about the Metallica concert coming to town (yes I like that headbanging stuff) and the fact that I can't find anyone to go with me, my boss said, "Well shoot, I'll go see Metallica with you." He likes that headbanging stuff too, which I knew that but Yay!! Now I just have to find good seats!

LOL Crissy! Some of our most embarassing moments are ALWAYS seen by someone, aren't they? Too funny!
I love Metallica! I'll see you there! What's the date? Metallica came here not too long ago. I didn't go. ☻ Haven't been to a concert in years.
It's on Saturday November 22nd If you come down here you can stay with us! We have a spare bedroom and bathroom!
UH HUM Crissy!! That there concert is 2 days after my birthday. Now if anybody gets to go see a concert, it should be ME!! ROFL I have never seen a "wheel bug" in all my life. Unless I have of course☺ Don't mind me, just feeling a bit goofy tonight☺
Well Judy, ya know if an 80 yr. old man says I'm hot, then gosh darn it, I'm hot! Are beautiful and hot the same thing? Hmm.....lol...I do thank you for the compliment! The heels are situated just right for my foot, so it made for easy walking, easy standing. Me, the Queen of Klutz even!! The Cubs are doing great, aren't they?? No!! You are not going to get me to wear any bifocals. NO. Only old ladies (and you of course), wear those suckers LOL And only old ladies drive 4 door cars, my grandma told me so!! And by golly by gumfry, is grandma said it, then it's true!!
Celia!! How was work?? I haven't seen a praying mantis in years. They are really cool!
Crissy being covered in the flea and tick powder is pretty funny, considering what happened to me today. We must be twins☺ I had to take my little Zoey to the vet today. Good grief, my dog had mushroom compost in her tail, not in, up close to her skin, only down where she drags that darn dust mop of a tail. The vet was insistent that it was flea stuff. I knew it wasn't, but it was time for a bath and another application of flea whatever, so I gave her a bath when we got home and after we finished up cleaning and mopping. I'm putting the flea liquid stuff on her, and I can't tell if I've got it all out of the tube. So I took the cap off and tried to pour out what I hadn't gotten by squeezing the tube. And promptly got it all over my hands. So I rubbed my hands over her fur. Sounds logical, ey? Then I washed my hands and while doing so, I wondered what the instruction thing said about getting it on your skin, probably just wash your hands. I look at the paper and it says to "rinse the skin for 15-20 minutes and call Poison Control". HUH?? It's all over her and she's supposed to have it on her, it says nothing about do not touch the dog for 1 month. About the time I was washing my hands for the second time (yea yea, that anal OCD part of me), my sister called. I told her I'd just poisoned myself. Joking of course, but I said it deadpan. You'd think after being my sister all these years, she'd know when I'm joking, but nope. She didn't. She was ready to rush here and take me to the emergency room..lol. And she says I freak out?? ROFLMAO!!!
I have a little rant. My BIL calls me and tells me the midnight person wants me to make out this paper, or better yet, have the lawyer make out the paper so it's legal and all, that the Elvis pictures she's "loaned" him, will be given back to her at his death. It was a "she said she told you a long time ago and she keeps bugging me about it". One of those "what the ???" moments. My BIL is disabled if I'm confusing anyone and I'm to be the POA when the time comes and I'm also executor of his will. I was ticked. I'm NOT making out any darn paper for her, nor are we (Jim and I) going to go pay our lawyer to draft up some gosh darn letter about her precious pictures. I told him that I knew nothing of what he was talking about, that I don't really even know what pictures he's talking about, where are they, etc. etc. They're in the hallway. If they're on "loan" to him, then if a staff knocks the darn pictures off the wall, he has to replace the frame or the whole darn picture(s)? No way! I told him to tell her that we're NOT going to the lawyer for such a stupid thing and if she wants the pictures back, take them already! Better yet, take them NOW!! I asked him if she knew something I didn't about his health and what the heck did she think, he was dropping dead tomorrow? Who does this kind of stuff??? I can hear the scarecrow singing to Dorothy ♫'If I Only Had A Brain'♫ Jeepers. Now he's afraid she's going to be "hurt" if he tells her to take them back. I told him I DIDN'T CARE is she's "hurt" or not! For crying out loud. What is it with some people?? O.k. rant over☺☺☺
I went tonight to visit my friend, Billy ( Billy Jean, but don't call her that full name unless she's in trouble!!), at the nursing home. She's in hospice and is feeling quite sick the last couple days. But when she saw me, her eyes smiled and said it all. She popped her leg on (LOL) and we went outside and sat, drank Pepsi ( I bought) and just visited. To make sure you fully understand how weird I truly am, it was just after 7pm when I left here, and I knew she'd be in her jammies. So I wore mine, with a bra of course..lol. She was tickled that I not only kept my promise to come visit her at least once a week, but I showed up, at night, our favorite time, in my jammies no less. It's the little things in life, that always bring a smile to my face and seeing the smile I've brought to anothers...♥♥♥
ROTFLOL Call her Billy Jean Whateverherlastnameis!!! You get bakc here THIS INSTANT!!! LOL I can hear it now! I have a bro who has to pop a leg on. Lost his right foot in Mexico. Can't seem to find it. ☺
Good morning, everyone. Life treating you well?
Have to pay some bills today and then it's off to earn more to pay more bills. Sheesh! It never ends, does it? ☺
Hi Celia!
LOL, oh gosh afraid not. LOL, Took the day off to clean my cluttered mess. We flooded last week in the rains...so since we have been cleaning out basement I am on a roll!! Been up since 5:30 AM!! Only one pot of coffee and started immediatley. still at it but then I can play the rest of the weekend! But actually I am having a good time, got the music crankin...no one to bother me, woohoo they are all in school.
Crissy, so sorry but got to giggle at the getting splattered with powder. Just like it when you think know one is around to see and, of course theres always someone to spot the oops. You took it all in stride good for you, LOL, i mean what else is there to do, I think i would have said some bad words over that....OH yayay, have a good time at the Metallica concert, so glad you have some to go with!
Terry, too cute, How come it's alqways the older or the way younger to give such great compliments. LOL, had a 10 year old tell my DD I was hot, of course that was 8 years ago when I was in much better shape....boy did I blush!
So I shared this picture on another thread but maybe you'ld like to see who your chatting with!
I am in the red hoodie. This pic was taken when DH and i went to see the Scorpions.
The concert is 21 days after my birthday!! Come down here and lets go!! Someone, anyone?? I haven't bought tickets yet because I'm not completely comfortable going to a Metallica concert with my boss, just odd to me for some reason. He took the day off to golf again, so I'll talk to him on Monday and see if his wife wants to go, that will make it more comforting for me anyway.
I think what made the powder funnier than it really was is because when it happened I said a few bad words, then I just started cussing about it out loud because the steps down into the shelter that I had just vaccuumed were all white again and had to be re-vaccuumed. So my neighbor not only saw me "splash" flea powder all over myself, but got to hear me talk to myself about it too!
Nice pictures!! I don't have any good pictures of me and Dave I could put on here, we might have to fix that problem...
Hi guys!! Sorry I have been gone for so long. My computer quit and it took several weeks to figure out what went wrong and to realize it wasn't fixable. I finally got my new computer yesterday and am slowly catching up.
Bad thing is I got laid off on Tues so I have no job at the moment. I am trying to get unemployment to hold me over but that's not even working either since their phones are busy that they hang up on you and their website isn't working right either. Grrrr......
Oh, geez! Isn't that always how it works? Sorry you got laid off.
We're soooooo glad you're back, though. We've missed you.
Celia, I'm serious in that she doesn't want or like, to be called by her full name. She's a tough lady. She's not afraid to tell me what she likes and doesn't like, but when it comes to the people that take care of her, well, it's that she relies on them for her care, and she's lost her independence in that regard. The nurses? They insist on calling her by her full name of Billy Jean and it aggravates her. She's told them over and over to call her Billy. She tells me that they do it because they know it annoys her, but they don't care and insist on treating her as if she were a child. I'm not sure of all her health issues, I know some of them. It's not good, that's why she's in hospice now. The first time she and I spoke, for some reason, she had this idea about me. She told me that she was a woman that my parents would warn me about and tell me to stay away from. She was from the "bad" part of town. Like I've said before, my maiden name is one that everybody knows and even though I'm married, I'm still "one of them"..LOL☺
Judy!! Good to finally SEE you! Where are 2 standing? Looks like Navy Pier? I've heard of that condition, the blushing condition, but I've never suffered from it☺☺☺ You know, it seems everyone and their brothers had a leaky basement or crawlspace, with all these rains. I heard we received almost 9". That report came from the water treatment department, which is 1 block north of us, so I'd say it's pretty accurate. We didn't get much of anything in our basement. Had a little stream running from a corner (the sidewalk outside dropped down at that corner and slopes right there), straight to the drain, but that was it. Our neighbors had to go buy a sump pump and drain theirs out. I was pretty pleased, this being a 112 yr. old house, still with the original brick foundation. They sure knew how to build them back when!
Crissy, just a "few" bad words?? LOL
pepper! Finally! You've got a ton of e-mails there to catch up on☺ They laid you off?? Get in your truck and drive to the unemployment office. They'll want to meet with you anyway.
I'm not sure if I like this new flea stuff on Zoey. She's scratching and clawing at herself. She's been doing that all day. I looked her over really good, there's no fleas on her. I wonder if it's this stuff, (it sure is a lot more oily than Advantix), is causing her to itch? Oh heavens to betsy. I just did a search on Vectra 3D, and it appears that most dogs ARE having a reaction to it! Holy moley.
Oh dear! I'm not familiar with that stuff. We don't get fleas here. Thr elevation is too high. We get ticks, though. LOTS of ticks.
Morning girls! Boy did I sleep good!
Say huh?? You guys don't have any fleas out in UT? Man, are you lucky! John wants to go ahead and let off some of those "foggers", just to be sure. We need to leave here for 3 hours. I think part of that time will be spent looking for Advantix. The vet doesn't carry it anymore because you can buy it over the counter now. I'll ask a store personnel if they've heard anything negative about Vectra and I'm going to continue to watch her. I'm thinking she's too little for this type of poison.
Definately keep an eye on it Terry, that worries me.
Oh went to Dave's company picnic today at the local amusement park in Hot Springs, they even fed us some wanna be hamburgers, soggy fried chicken legs, and mayonnaisey potato salad. It really wasn't bad at all, sounds bad and looked worse lol! What's funny is all of the people who work with him who are nice and friendly were there, so I got to meet some people. The ones who are lazy, lie on their time cards, and his boss weren't there, we didn't see them anyway. We mainly hung out at the wave pool, keeping Dave out of the water is extremely difficult. I wanted to go walk over by the rides to see who else was there but Dave didn't want to. So we went over to the waterslides and sat with the guy who trained Dave for a little while, then left about 1:30ish. We then went to Wal Mart to do our grocery shopping, then back home, put the groceries away, I fried a chicken, and now I am wiped out. Dave wants to go out tonight, which I supposed I can manage just as long as I can sit the whole time, my legs and feet are aching from the walking up and down stairs. Oh heck, walking in general LOL! I'm a little sunburned too.
Going to take a bath!
We let off 11 foggers in here today. 4 in the basement, 3 on the first floor, 3 on second floor and 1 in the attic. We took Zoey out to my parents house and then we left, in my dads pick-up. Such a treat. Get in and the first thing my eye spies is torn Kleenex all over the place. Only means 1 thing out there, there's a mouse in the truck. WOOHOO!! I don't really want to find the dang thing, in fact, leave it be and just let me drive. But no, Krista pops open the glove box and what's in there, you ask? Why, all a person can see is a ton of torn Kleenex and what appears to be paper. So that thing was slammed shut really quick! Tiny babies yet? I dunno, I don't care! EEEKKK!!!! That is not the first time I've driven that thing with a mouse in it. Talk about gross and afraid to touch anything. We go ahead and drive that mouse, and us, over to another town. I wanted broom corn and some pumpkins. I'm always late getting there, so we went today. And of course, we're too early for the dang broom corn. They've raised the prices on the pumpkins, so I think I'll wait and get them elsewhere. I did get some fresh green beans and some fresh dug potatoes. Yummy. The beans are cooking as we speak. I just put in a pound of (raw) bacon. I think I must have bought 4-5 pounds of beans. My pot sure is full! Some people enjoy their beans steamed. We don't, they're too crunchy. We like them cooked, with bacon, for a couple days, down low, on simmer. The bacon cooks and flavors everything. The bean juice will be used when I make a pot of minestrone soup this winter. Yum yum. Tomorrow I'll use my fancy grease skimmer to remove most of the fat juice (or bacon grease that floats in there). Went to the locker today and also got a nice lean fresh corned beef brisket. I'll get out my other pot tomorrow and add cabbage and some of the potatoes I bought. Poor John has to work tomorrow night☺ Back to the mouse. Never did find her. Has to be a her, unless the man mouse makes the nest? I don't know and I don't care!! Consider that a rhetorical question!! I brought out my dads shop vac and cleaned the truck up when we got back to their house. Yuck. Ick. Gross. There was a ton of Kleenex torn up and also a map and some other paper my dad had in the glove box. Hope he didn't want them or need too badly..lol. I found 2 mouse traps and put them in there too. They're out of town, so we get to go back out there and check the traps. Lucky us!! Such a fun day..lol.
Zoey appears fine today. She's acting like she's got water on her, that's what the shaking she's doing is all about. She always shakes like that when she's gotten a bath. She must feel that greasy stuff on her and is trying to shake it off. I couldn't find the K9 Advantix. Heck, I couldn't find anyone to ask! I did see a guy I went to school with though. Why is it, that sometimes you see a former classmate and are always amazed at how OLD they are?? What really cracked me up, was him finding a clerk (where did she come from??) and saying, hey young lady LOL He sounded like he was 80!! I should say this guy was THE biggest jock in junior high and high school. He said hi to me, but did he really know who I was? I mean, my being such a young hot thing and all..ROFLMAO Really, I see him sometimes a bar, a nice place to go get some good 'ol fried chicken. He knows me when he's got a few in him..LOL I'm sorry, I can't seem to quit laughing☺☺☺
HEY JUDY!!! CUBS WIN!!! CUBS WIN!!! We've clinched the division!! YAH!!!! ♫Go Cubs go, go Cubs go..♫
P.S. Judy, I didn't know the Cubs paid that much for Fukudome!!! Good grief. why why why???
Yea, Cubby's!!!
Off to work. Mouses in the truck? LOL
No, no fleas. As I said before the elevation is too high for them.
Off to work.
Yuk! Mice!
Hope you had a good day at work Celia! I'm going to Shreveport next weekend with a friend! Woo Hoo! Shouldn't spend the money, but Woo Hoo!
Woo hoo!!! Have fun, don't worry about the money. You deserve a trip after what you've been through. Enjoy!
Terry, you have plans to get away? You deserve it more than the rest of us.
You have no idea how many times I have unknowingly driven a vehicle from there and not known that there was a mouse inside. My dad swears they aren't from there, that I bring them there. Yea right! He says it in all sincerity too. Cracks me up..lol. He's not only had them in the truck, but in his car (oh my!) and under the hood of the truck too. Where it ate all the electrical wiring in there and dad had to have it towed and fixed. They have traps set up all over in both garages and catch them too. But they don't have any...lol. I had one inside my 'Stang once and didn't even know it was there. I left my baby inside his detached garage and took his truck back down to TN, when we were moving back home. And guess what rode me, all the way to TN, all around TN and then back to his house again? Yep, a mouse. I guess it was homesick and wanted it's mommy and daddy (my mom and dad?). When it was apparent (don't ask), that I had one in my car? My dear 'ol daddy gives me a mouse trap, that didn't work. It was icy out, and I had come here for the day to work. When I got home that night, I left my car door open to go open up the door..he didn't have a door opener that worked. I got about half way to the walk-in door and remembered that mice jump into the car, and I turned around. Just as I turned around, that darn mouse jumped out of my car and went under it. I was doing all sorts of crazy things to get it to get out from under it and move away. It did. Those things are so disgusting and nasty.
I've been sick all day. I slept till 12:30pm on the couch. I let Zoey out about 8am and didn't want to go back up, so I found the couch. I don't know what's the matter. Those foggers we let off yesterday? Mouse yuck that I was breathing in? Who knows. The directions on the box say to leave for 3 hours, we were gone for double that and it was "foggy" in here. I thought it was because it was closed up and where was the "fog" to go? No air on, no fans, no nothing. I didn't even think about washing the bedding last night, but it's in the washer now. I should check to see if it needs to go into the dryer.
Needless to say, my corned beef was never made. The beans taste wonderful though! John says I need more..lol. I'm thinking of letting the corned beef simmer all night and adding the cabbage and potatoes tomorrow.
Sadly Celia, no, I have no plans to go anywhere. I was thinking about going to AR at my parents place (once they leave), alone. But then I'd have to clean and I don't want to clean. I just want to sit outside and look at the lake. And they'll cover up the boat once again and it's such a pain to uncover (then cover again), especially by myself. sigh. I want and I need to be alone. And I could cry. My aunt (Sue) was cremated. She wanted her ashes dumped into the lake, along and with her dad. Sadly, I found out from my mom yesterday that she has Sue still in the closet. How incredibly mean. She said she "knew I wanted to be there" when her ashes were dumped into the lake and she's correct. But shoving her into the closet? No one shoved Sue, unless it was me and she was being a pain in my keester☺ I asked, no I begged, my mom if it was doable for her to place Sue under my bed there. I know it sounds crazy, but if you knew Sue, you'd understand. I miss Sue. And know that I've made myself cry again, I'll go check on the sheets.
lol Celia, I've already been to California for 4 days lol!

When I see her again, it may be a couple of weeks, she works full time and goes to college. I guess her Biology class is killing her.
Go Cubbies!!!! My boss likes the Yankees so I have to go for the Cubs to add a little life to the topic. I don't really like baseball but here I go! I still have to go for my SF Giants, even though they suck! Sorry! I am way confused too, since Darren McFadden went to the Raiders I kinda have to root for them, but since I've only been in AR for 1 1/2 years do I haffta??? I'm a Raider Hater!
Crissy, don't hafta!!! LOL Root for who you like. ☺
It's raining here today. A good steady rain that's been going on for a while. It's nice. I'm off work, I have a book to finish, hubby did laundry yesterday, so I don't have that and he did the dishes. (Sigh) I'll just relax and enjoy the day.
Hey! I've gained 8 hours of sick leave since I used it all up with my surgery! I wonder if I can take sick leave for a dds, dr, and od. hm
I feel odd not rooting for them, actually him. Know what I mean?
I want the day off, shoot, I want the week off! Never enough vacation! lol! I'm all wound up, got almost all of my stuff done before my conference instead of procrastinating until the last minute, now I get to play! I have other stuff to do but don't want to do it today.
I want Starbucks.
Mmm...Starbucks...what'll it be for you, Ma'am? Carmel Macchiato for me, please.
Oh we're on the same page! I want a Caramel Frappiccino.
No coffee for me. lol. Love the smell but hate the taste. Won't even eat coffee cake.
The only team I really root for is the KC Chiefs. They aren't too bad. The Royals are pitiful and until they get their act together I won't even think about rooting for them. Main problem with Chiefs is Carl Peterson. He needs to go and SOON!!!!
