sickly hibiscus tree

Kingsport, TN

There were alot of "afids" on my tree and I sprayed "insecticide soap-insect killer", then my boyfriend did the same. Now the leaves look sickly, but the flowers are still flowering. Do You think my tree will be ok? I have been spraying the leaves when I water the tree.

Can you post a photo? It would be a big help in seeing what the problem is.

I agree, a picture would help to identify what is happening to your tree, aphids may be just part of the problem, could be that and maybe too much water, too little or the tree needing fed etc, too much sun or even the wrong soil type, so try send in a picture.
Ha, ha, ha, this from a lass who still cant master this, some people send me mail to see my garden in picture form, BUT still cant master it, I'm sure this is an age thing but probably a brain transplant would be the answer for me. Good luck. WeeNel.

picture qwould be good. when you spray it has too be below90 and lower hunidity. If you spray in the full hot sun then you'll burn the leaves, you wont see it until the next day or 2. These leaves will then fall off and be replaced with new ones. How and when did you spray?
